I do believe she trusts him and he's strong enough, just not sure if his responses are sharp enough. Poor lamb always seems a bit dazed when he's performing

Fred and Emily's tweets seem to indicate she is struggling alot this week - so i'm guessing their pushing her quite a bit

I think it's what Danny was trying to explain. God help Frankie!”

I said she would go mad.

I think its a relatively legitimate excuse that the record was released about a decade before you were even born. Especially when you're only young!

Which song was the other one? 'I Don't Know Much, But I Know I Love You'?

Kieron's friend has posted on his fan facebook page that "they have the most fantastic song to dance to next week my favourite up to now...", so I wonder what that'll be...”

I'm sure it will please some Mikey fans, and it will please a lot of other people who like the song.

Now, now, with the bold bit, you are treading on dangerous waters. With all the retro stuff lately (e.g. the 1990's were a rehash of the 1970's; the noughties were a rehash of the 1980's) everyone should know songs before their time.

However, I don't care if they know their songs, I only care if they can adapt to it, and Kieron has certainly done that (as I said I'm feeling a bit mischievious today).

Let us know which song it is as soon as you know.

What actually happens if a celeb is still sick on Sunday, and can't skate? Have we had that before?

I don't know. "Sick" in this context would probably mean not being able to get out of bed rather than "man flu" (i.e. cold), I suppose. In strictly, they have the rule that you can miss one week due to injury, without being penalised. Maybe theywould use the same here.

I hope he will be fit again, I don't want any of the competitors to go out because of sickness, be it because they cannot train or because they cannot take part on the day.

I`m sure we have - was it David Seaman?

Yes - he missed 1 week and had a different Skating Pro another week as well after smacking Pam's head in the headbanger.

So he was given a bye-week

Ah, okay.

I suppose it's sort of a bit unfair on the others, especially in the latter stages, but I guess there's no perfect way around it, really.

Of course, only if it isn't your favourite. However, I think it can backfire as well, the general public might perceive it as unfair, and not vote for the couple in the following week.

Gareth Gates appearance was in doubt up until just before the show started, he had been laid up all day with a migraine!

Mikey had a bug a few weeks ago and both Maria and Gary had it a couple of weeks ago, so maybe its spreading round and round!

Yikes. It'll be impressive if he pulls it off but since he already has trouble connecting the different elements in his routines a bigger lift like that might cause him to be even more tentative.

Also, that routine was awesome. She walked over him! In skates!

Doesn't the medical team have to say they can't participate? I don't think it's the contestants choice.

That's mental. Surely a celebrity skater cannot be good enough to do that lift. If that goes wrong Frankie's out of there on a stretcher.

Oh I'm sure there must be proper procedures, and the production team probably need medical evidence that the contestants really cannot take part (I don't think the contestants can just decide that they don't want to take part).

Yep, having watched that, I'd be worried for Frankie!

But I'm sure they'll do it much more slowly etc - the producers won't let it go ahead if they think there's a big risk of serious injury or anything.

The thing I hope, though, is that it doesn't end up totally dominating Danny's routine, leading to him not improving the other areas he needs to.

I've just been looking at the Dancing on Ice website and on the news page, it says Kieron's doing an axel. You would have thought that they could get it right on there!

Lol. Just be thankful they've actually posted something for once! To be fair, according to Kieron, the reason that he ended up falling so spectacularly was that he accidentally did half a rotation too much and ended up doing an axel by mistake, swiftly followed by the famous 'falling flat on your face' move on landing...

Sounds like he must be jumping really well if he can accidentally fit in the extra half rotation - assuming he is landing the half axel normally! So is a half axel one full rotation?

Ah, just seen Danny on DOI. A simpler, safer version of the tabletop.

Don't know whether i'm more dissapointed or relieved!

Haha, well I suppose it only counts if you actually land it though! As I understand it, a half-axel is one full rotation, so you end up facing the same way you started, while an axel is one and a half rotations so you end up backwards.

Thank you - it sounds impressive. Hopefully the two jumps will help to push his score right up this week.

Kieron is performing to George Michael's 'Careless Whisper'. So he definitely knows this one!

http://www.e4.com/hollyoaks/intervie...on_100226.html

Lots of big lifts, apparently, as well as the half-axel...!

Not sure what the Romeo and Juliet song he's talking about wanting for next week is?

(Hilarious fish-lips Kieron's got there incidently - who needs collagen injections when you can just bash your face on some ice! )
