I just been informed by the Iron Maiden Fan Club that on Thursday March 4th 2300GMT BBC 4 is to première Iron Maiden's Flight 666 documentary. I have already seen it and it is very good and it is kicking off the Heavy Metal Britannia weekend as well that is also appearing on BBC 4.

Also on Friday 5th March at 2300 GMT on BBC 4 they are also showing a 60 minute special of the concert that is featured as on the extra disc of Flight 666. So also make sure to tune into that as well.

It's a great documentary, the whole of it was on Youtube one day but I doubt it's still there. Nicko McBrain alone made it worth watching IMO.

To anybody who has already seen this, how 'Spinal Tap' is this movie ?

I'm not a Maiden fan, but I figure it may be worth watching for the laugh factor.

Is there any footage of metal fans doing that devil sign with their fingers or sticking their tongue out 'Kiss' style to show how 'metal' they are ?

I saw Iron Maiden at Twickenham and the sound was truly sh!te, they were much better at Earls Court a couple of years before

I've never paid to see them though
