It was probably Keisha. So now I'd say Jade, seeing as she re-recorded Keisha's parts.

Its fairly equal though. But I would like Heidi to get more parts, I love her voice.

There is no lead singer. They are constantly switching lead vocals on a song-by-song basis.

It just so happens that for Sweet 7, Heidi took the back-seat on the songs they chose for the album, with most of the songs featuring Jade and Amelle on lead, separately.

On the new album is it quite obviously Amelle with Jade not too far behind. Which makes Keisha look like a right nasty bitch (we know she is anyway) because she was furious Amelle got to sing more than her. It's not by much so you get an insight into bully Keisha's mind.

I would say Amelle really. She's the only one with a decent voice out the three to be honest.

I'd tell you but the way things go with the Sugababes by the time this message appeared on the screen the lineup would have changed half a dozen times so my answer would be out of date!!

I wouldnt say that there is a specific lead... I think that each of the babes has equal footing on the songs... I think they go into the studio and decide who's voice fits best with the different sections of the song

I'd say this album features a lot of Amelle on lead, and doing lots of little rap bits as well, since it's the first time her voice actually works with the Sugababes sound IMO.

Well Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber said Jade had done well as she was now the lead singer of the group. Source: Jonathan Ross last night.

I would have to say Jade, because like another poster said above, she re-recorded Keisha's parts, and she has the strongest voice.

Heidi does sing alot more though.

Mutya was the original voice of the group. Siobohan's voice made me wanna fall asleep. I found her dull and couldn't have been happier when she left. I hear Mutya's voice a lot more then the others in their early music. Then Keisha took over from Taller in more ways era.

Girls Aloud is pretty obvious that it's Nadine. However on the odd occasion, it's been between her and Sarah. But it's mainly Nadine.

Was there ever a lead singer on spice girls? I never noticed one

Has to be Mel C. She was doing about half of all the vocals when I saw them on tour. I think Victoria only sang about 5 or 10 solo lines in total!

The Spice Girls used to spread out their vocals a lot more evenly compared to Girls Aloud do. I think, however, on GA's previous 2 albums that Nadine has taken a back seat as the other girls have been given more to do.

As for the Sugababes, I would say Amelle and Jade right now. I think Heidi's voice is better for the more mellow songs on the album, Amelle takes the uptempo songs and Jade can do both.

Yes, on GA's last album Nicola and Kimberly were featured more.

Sugababes: Amelle.
