Colleen Nolan and the Friday Show.
I have seen it a couple of times and had to switch off.
I know it is just my opinion and maybe just me but I am finding Colleen incredibly irritating. It is all about her, her interruptions, etc. I am sure if they wanted an ex contestant on there, they could have found someone else. Melinda Messenger or Jessica would have done a great job. |

She does interrupt a lot...and nothing is smooth with her presenting or questioning, it's quite disjointed. And everything always gets related back to her experiences - give it a rest!
I realise presenting a show is hard, I couldn't do it. However, she's supposed to be good at it, but they could have found much better presenters. How on earth she made in to the quarter finals I'll still never know... |

Not knocking her effort at all, but she wasn't the most gifted on the ice! Was probably a good personal achievement for her, but in relation to the actual competition, not very good!

She annoyed me when she kept saying week after week that she was improving when she was just being carted around the ice by poor Stuart!

I quite liked the idea of this show but having to watch Colleen ruined it for me. I thought she was bad on the ice, but at least she couldn't talk when she was skating.

I agree it could have been done better. I'd like to see more backstage stuff, and perhaps some past contestants giving opinions (other than Colleen). SCD gets it bang on the money with ITT. DOIF has a lot of the same elements, but sadly not Claudia. She makes that show what it is!

Without being able to say exactly why, I find Colleen faintly embarrassing. And without wishing to rub salt in the wound, is it my imagination, or has she put back on the weight that she lost?

weekday show
Was it during series one or two that Andrea and Andy hosted the weeday DOI Defrostred show. This was more along the lines of ITT and very watchable While sad to say I record the Friday show and usually get to watch it sometime but if I can't I'm not that fussed!

Last year the programme was spoilt for me with her in it and getting through every week I thought was a complete joke. I know people have the right to vote who they want to keep in but it wasn't her skating ability, that's why I agree with what you say. On the friday show, Coleen is so out of her depth. In a thirty second slot when she was talking, she must have looked at her prompt card about four or five times. Ben is a natural and is carrying her IMO. |

I thought that as well - she looked as if she had some very firm foundation garments on to give her a waistline on Friday.
She is totally out of her depth even in such a lightweight show. Continually fiddling nervously, looking at her cards all the times and very stilted. She makes Mr Froth himself Ben look like a seasoned pro in comparison. |

I think the show should be called "Coleen Nolan and the friday Show, it's perfect".
Thanks Coleen. |

The show needs to be either longer or on more often - but if that involves more Colleen then forget it. She is very unprofessional, constantly interrupting, constantly making "smart" remarks that are just not funny. She has no presenting skills whatsoever. Its completely different sat around the "coffee table" discussing useless bits of new info with your mates - which is basically what loose women is all about, and presenting a prime time entertianment programme. Ben is great as always - she is just dreadful. |

Think she has improved a tad but would still prefer Ben on his own.
The show is so short - can't see why we need two presenters! |

I'm glad I'm not imagining things.
I find this woman incredibly irritating - I used to like her on Loose Women on the odd occasions I found myself watching it, but she is so "me me me me" on this program. Colleen - you were rubbish on DOI, and you're no better as a presenter. I find her constant put-downs very unfunny and she comes across as being a rude know-it-all. Colleen, do everyone a favour and leave Ben to it as you're ruining the program. Going back to DOI, it seemed that the audience was always full of Colleen's relatives...and judging from what I have heard others say, tickets for relatives are not given out willy nilly, so why did she get preferential treatment I wonder? As for her clothes, she needs to stop wearing things which look about 4 sizes too small. I think it was last week her bust looked like a couple of watermelons doing their best to break out of her scaffolding... |
