JayZ/Alicia Keys - Empire State of Mind SICK! Both versions!

Just wondering if anyone else is sick of this song at the moment, it's being hammered by radio/TV.

First it was JayZ version in the top 10, now their is also alicia's version!. It's just CRAZY!!

I like both of the songs, but ............... ABOVE

If a song is popular, it's going to get played a lot. Supply and demand.

Rather listen to that than Jason Derulo

I like both, but prefer Alicia's solo version. Wish we could go a week without either version in the top 10, though.

I never really liked the Jay-Z and Alicia Keys version because it seemed a little too long and I found the raps a bit boring. I like the version with just Alicia Keys though.

They both alright songs. Prefer Alicia's because it has no rapping and I could fully appreciate and understand what she is singing about.

I much prefer Run this town by him in terms of the songs he has done. I was chuffed it won two grammy's.

I never get tired of hearing this song, and way prefer the Jay Z version, his rapping makes a great song even better.

I think I'm one of the few people who never really got the hype over this song. I mean its pretty good, but I don't understand why so many people said it was the best song of 2009, or why everyone was going on about how amazing the Brits performance was.

It just doesn't really do it for me. I always preferred Run This Town.

When the song first started becoming popular, I hated it. I found it really boring, but after a few months I started to like it, and then Alicia's version came out, and I liked it even more.

So I'm not bored of it yet, although I did loathe it a few months ago.

But yes, I think, the first version especially, has hung around in the charts for too long. I like it now, but there are better songs.
