The LG Cookie very nearly put me off touch mobiles for life. It must be the buggiest mobile phone of all time.

I've taken another plunge into the world of touch mobiles by buying a Samsung GT-B3410 from Carphonewarehouse for £79.99. CPW were selling these a short time ago for £199 so I think I've got a bargin.

I'm really very impressed with the B3410 and I feel it represents good value for money. The touch screen is extremely responsive requiring the lightest of touch and although only 256K colours it actually looks like 17m colours. It's very compact, some would say heavy but after using the featherlight Sony Ericsson W890i for some time I am comfortable with the 113.7g that the B3410 weighs.

I like the fact that it's got a 3.5 mm audio jack - no more pissing around with adaptors when you want to use the headphones that came with your MP3 player.

The camera is only 2.0mp but it's very acceptable and slide out qwerty keypad is a head-turner. It comes a Stereo FM radio with RDS and FM recording and the battery life is good for a touch mobile.

It doesn't come with a usb cable but that wasn't a problem because I got one off Amazon for £3.95 post free with next day delivery.
