As in the title has anyone rich enough to do so tried bodychef or dietchef deliveries?

I'm in 2 minds whether or not to touch them. I have never ever wanted to join a slimming club. Although I have tried the weightwatchers premade shakes.
But I am intrigued by both of these. One appears to be double the weekly price of the other.

And there is another one.

They all deliver the food to your home on a regular basis.

I thought the idea sounded interesting but i turned right off when in the dietchef video some woman started talking about "feeling so much more confident" - ffs. Sounds like same old marketing bull all over again.

What i wouldn't like is that its just all microwaved food though. Your missing out on a lot of nice food which isn't bad for you if its all microwaved. Such as stirfrys etc.

Then again i'm not the target market here, because i enjoy cooking.

Pure marketing nonsense. Tiny, overpriced portions laden with additives and other nasties.

There's one easy way to eat well and healthily, cook for yourself at home. That way you know EXACTLY what is in your food and can control the calories accordingly.

Are you trying to lose weight then? Save the money and just cook low fat healthy meals for yourself, regulate portion size and get plenty of excercise.

The problem with following a diet plan, is that once you finish, if you haven't materially changed how YOU cook and prepare food, then the weight will just pile back on again.

If slimming clubs don't work for you, then try reading up on what cponstitutes healthy low fat food and make it yourself. Having someone prepare it for you and deliver it to your door at vast expense is an short term, lazy option and won;t fix the underlying weight issue you want to address.

I think they are a rip off to be honest! It's expensive because you normally have to buy extra food aswell. I've lost a lot of weight in the past 3 years, and haven't used any club or tried different diets. I just did it by healthy eating, cooking my own meals and learning about healthy food and lifestyle :]

I think if someone used something like diet chef, they'd never learn about what is good for them food so if they stopped using it, they'd fall back into old habits

There are a million ways to lose weight and it's easy. The hard bit is keeping it off.

I like cooking so wouldn't be interested but surely it is cheaper even to buy and freeze low calorie ready meals from M&S or any supermarket which would be much better quality, your choice and calorie counted and serve them with lots of fresh veg.

Thanks for your replies.
I do cook but have a business as well as work for someone else so things can get a little busy. It is difficult to find the time to rustle something up.
I also have a husband who cooks but never knows when I am going to be home.
