great dance track from about 5 years ago

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1pD6WYQZ10

also this one... although technically a 90s track... it sounds like something more recent which along with kicking ass is my excuse for posting it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cajnQ5zSYUo

thats a great list btw. black coffee by the all saints is a very under-rated song in my opinion

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cuPeBpQZ-M

Erin Rocha - Can't Do Right For Nothing Wrong (Beautiful ballad from 2003)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDKDxwRN9rM

Sinead Quinn - What You Need Is (This girl was 2nd in Fame Academy 03 - she was robbed and should have had a long career)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zP2n2jpoUHk

Also I Can't Break Down:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkK1pDYqvEE

Jennie Frost - Crash Landing (Atomic Kitten member with a dance record that crash landed at #54 in 2005)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4shkf8nGHQw

Practically any of Amy Winehouse's singles from "Frank". My favourite is f*** me pumps from 2004:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJhl1xQENpY

Twenty4Seven - Hide (A small hit in 2004 - boyband ballad in it's highest variant. Apparently, one of them plays rugby for Scotland now!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO6EoY99KT0

Bellefire - Say Something Anyway (An Irish girl band who had a few hits between 2002-2004. This was their biggest hit)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfoltH2_NbI

Annie - Chewing Gum (Norwegian dance act who had a small hit with this in 2004)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCNKLzUD7CU

Rooster - Staring At The Sun (A rock band who had a few hits between 04-06. Gorgeous lead singer with a great voice. This was their best song in early 2005)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdtpKYGrBUQ

411 - Dumb (R and B girl group who had a few hits in 2004. Should NEVER have been dropped and they had the potential to be huge)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II16IWkp2R4

Alesha Dixon - Lipstick (Her first single in 2006 - should have been a huge hit)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyZ5yq5Z59A

The Feeling - Join With Us (A late 2008 song, which was used in an advert but made #87 )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoBz54K4wzU

Girls Aloud - Whole Lotta History (From 2006, a forgotten track of theirs which made #9. Very beautiful ballad)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRukFHvC87U

Pink - Family Portrait (#11 hit in 2002, one of her best songs)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-qfASpzNh8

Sugababes - Follow Me Home (#33 in 2006 - should have been huge for this powerful ballad)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbyb9_akkHA

Any of Kristian Leontinou's singles. He was a semi-fampus artist in 2004, who had two top 20s with "Shining" and "Story of my life" plus a top 50 hit with "Some Say" which features murder victim Merdeith Kutcher Now part of One Eskimo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a3nVJo5I1s (Shining)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B7qGMtyDIg (Some Say)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYpAUTWPXsk (Story of my life)

Plus two album tracks:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8BZKUNGekM (The Years Move On)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zv-MLWXSp1I (Love Is All I Need)

I could go on with this

I'm glad someone likes the song links I posted

It is a good album, it's just they didn't really have the fanbase and hype machine like Busted and McFly did at that point. I did have the second album in 2006, where the sound was more mature and again fantastic.

I remember one song from their second album (good to be here?) Remember really liking that too. They were very underrated. There isn't a bad song on their debut.

Another Lemonescent song Beautiful was my favourite song of the Decade to miss the top 40, in 2002. I couldn't find it on Youtube but have just found it on Myspace at http://www.myspace.com/lemonescent

Bellefire had bigger hits with Perfect Bliss and All I Want Is You. AIWIY was a cover version of a U2 song (which met with The Edge's approval!) and I got to know Perfect Bliss on holiday in Ireland (actually in 2001 but I am delighted you remember them!).

Perfect Bliss: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxe9rlqTYGA

Some other good pop songs from the 00s (these are all really cheesy but I don't care!):

Alphabeat - Boyfriend
Amerie - 1 Thing
Rachel Stevens - Negotiate With Love
Atomic Kitten - The Last Goodbye
Sophie Ellis Bextor - I Won't Change You
Mutya Buena/Groove Armada - Song 4 Mutya
