Yet they still voted for her - which makes me wonder how she ended up in the skate off.
Apologies, I worded that wrong, I meant people that voted for her previously, as to a reason why some may not have voted for her the last couple of weeks.

For example, I voted for her in the first three weeks as I wanted to give her a chance but I haven't voted for her since then as I felt it got to the point where there were many better skaters than her and she'd had a good run.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed Brianne's over-tan
Just popped in so apologies if this has already been said, but watching Brianne in the training clips I can barely recognise her from the over-made-up oompa loompa (I like that analogy lol) who appears on the show each week - she seems to instantly age 20 years. A shame because i think she's much prettier without all that.

I`m more concerned about Danniella - she`s very popular on here so was very surprised to see her in the skate off !

Tonight she wasn't very good (though better than Mikey). I think she was shocked at finding herself in the skate off and this no doubt contributed to her hesitant performance.

She's not my favourite, but I think she's a fighter and I expect her to come back next week with all guns blazing.

I've liked Daniella in the past but her last couple of performances haven't done anything for me. I've gone off her a bit.

Maybe others felt the same and decided to vote for someone else?

Had I voted, I'd have lent my support to Danny tonight.

Me too - impressed with his unassisted jump, best of the night imo

Can`t wait for Musings from Jfw later - hammy is going to be suicidal wth Emily leaving

Emily out, and so another 2010 reality show dies for me.

Oh well, frees up some time.

If you told me I'd be gutted that Emily is out when the show first started I would have laughed. However in the last few weeks she's improved so much. She didn't deserve to go tonight.

I was impressed with Danny tonight. He really put the work in and it showed so I was glad he wasn't in the skate off and he did a great jump and held the landing edge beautifully.

Quite sorry to see Emily go having warmed to her after not liking her for weeks. She went on a great performance though.

Gary's routine seemed too fast and difficult to perform well - they don't seem to have got the routines right for him as he skates really well. I preferred last week's.

Disappointed with Daniella this week. It didn't seem to have much sparkle and jump wasn't great.

Still prefer to watch Daniella than Hayley though who I still just cant' find appealing in any way. She did at least start to actually skate rather than just bobbing up and down on toepicks.

Kieron - ahh - I love Kieron - like an over enthusiastic puppy he really seems to put his all into the routines. Not convinced on the half axels (stupid two footed jump - why on earth couldn't they give him a proper jump to do ?) but still enjoyable to watch.

And Mikey. Well I wouldnt' have minded if he'd gone this week. He showed a lot of promise early on but just doesn't seem to have been able to deliver on it.

How gracious was Emily when she was voted out?

She totally had the right attitude - was appreciative and grateful for the experience and realised how much she had learnt.

Everyone seemed genuinely sorry to see her go. And I thought Fred's very kind words about Emily's future showed what a great partnership they'd had.

Its weird for me with Danielle as I just cant take to her at all her performances are very mechanical or something.

I actually though Emily danced better then Danielle last night and I enjoyed her performance more.

I think people might have gone off Danielle when the judges made her the DOI pet. She can do no wrong and Jason gushes over her performances.

I actually find this year a bit flat for me if it wasnt for Hayley and Dan I would have switched off by now.

I think Daniella was in the skate off as people thought she was safe. I know I did, I voted for Kieron as I thought he was more vulnerable and I'm sure lots voted for Mikey for the same reason.

I was surprised that Danielle was in the Dance Off and knew immediately Emily had no chance as the judges like Daniella. I thought her routine last night was good and Emily was very brave indeed to do her lift with no hands!!! I think they are all barking mad to be honest to take such physical risks for a show!!!! I like Gary normally but I thought his routine last night was not very good and was amazed by the judges' marks and comments. He seemed very unsteady on his feet and overwhelmed by the frantic pace of the routine. I am getting very irritated by the ONE SKATER straight to ADVERTS pace of the show. It really spoils the whole show for me. Far too many advert breaks!!!

Obviously Mikey has tons of fans and Daniella does not. He had a very bad night last night and after seeing his fall on the ice, was not surprised he was shaked up and unsteady on his feet. He seems such a nice guy but barking mad to risk injury on the ice!!!!!!

I agree that fall he had could have broken his hip and his arm wow he went down really badly.

I agree about the advert breaks they are so annoying.

This year I dont find DOI as exciting as last year.

If it wasn't for Hayley and Dan, I would absolutely have tuned out the show by now, and would have no interest in the competition at all. I'm sorry - but Mikey has just not improved in the slightest (sure...you can blame it on a fall - but if he had improved...would he have fallen so badly?) and it's really time for him to be going...he just doesn't have any natural skating talent, and his performances are actually very uncomfortable to watch...and a little boring.

I'm also quite glad Daniella was in the skate-off. Her performance last night was pretty average...but her solo skating is just not existent (except the jump) and she just clings to her partner and nothing else. Boring!

Hayley and Dan to win

I didn't think it was a great show-even Hayley didn't seem as good. Poor choice of music for most-just seemed very samey with no sparkle last night!

Knew Mikey would be saved by the public, and was happy Danny wasn't in the skate off after his great performance.

I like Danniella, but this wasn't her best week and she was worse in the skate off. Hopefully she will be back on form next week.

Was sorry to see Emily go as she's grown on me over the weeks. At least she went out on one of her best performance though.

Danny might be in trouble next week, for some reason he just doesn't have any public support. Even on here, there are very few threads about him and yet technically he is the best.

I'd just like to say how nice it i sto see a whole page of nice things about Emily. I've been accustomed to seeing horrible "get her out etc" stuff about her, but she really did improve as the show went on.

Don't underestimate Danny - he avoided the skate off last week at the surprising expense of Daniella. Perhaps his support allied to those who vote for performance is stronger than one surmises.

Aww, Emily's mum bawling her eyes out too! I have to say it's been nice to see Kate there every week and being so supportive.
Shame cousin Paul McCartney could not be bothered to turn up to support Emily. It might have improved her viewers' votes LOL!!!!!!!
