I wouldnt be surprised if Hayley, Danniella or Gary close the show again then because Mikey closed it last week and they won't have Emily closing.

Mikey should be first. Hayley should be near the beginning.

I really thought Kieron might be last tonight. From what I've read, it sounds like he may have the most difficult jump, and he's had the drama of the fall this week as well (and DOI do love showing all the detail of injuries).

I am not sure how much an advantage/disadvantage certain slots are for any one person each week, I think a lot depends on who you are and who's left in with you, as well as the types of song you've been given.

I think Keiron has been at a disadvatage of skating first/early a few times. His scores have been lower than if perhaps he had skated later in the show. Especially with some of the judges marking relatively!

I know what you mean Rachel, although his routine last week was full of energy so it'd probably have injected some impact regardless of the running order.

Oh completely! It was a great energetic routine and this week was a great step up for him.

But on a few occasions I have thought that if he'd have skated later, his marks may have been higher.

I like Hayley, but I agree she should be early tonight, and Kieron should have been later on or last.

Does anyone think it matters when you perform? You know like on XFactor it was like if you are on first it's a bad thing? Or is it different for this type of show???

It makes a difference. It's not the be all and end all, but it does make a difference. The nearer you are to the end, the more likely people are to remember you when voting comes. And at the start of the show there are almost always fewer viewers than at the end.

If it's a particularly memorable routine (like Kieron's opening routine last week) it probably matters less, because that sticks in peoples mind anyway. But still going on later is an advantage. It's a subtle way that producers can give their favourites a boost, and make it more likely that certain people get voted off (like how in the X Factor this year, Joe was almost always put on right at the end, while someone like Lloyd was never given a slot in the latter half of the line-up ever). It's a bit less blatent than a VT, but it can still be a useful manipulation tool for them sometimes.
