Recipe for carrot chutney?
I absolutely love the Wensleydale and Carrot Chutney sandwich available at M+S. I would really like to make my own at home, but can't find the chutney anywhere! A quick google search has informed me that M+S don't sell the chutney!
Anyway, on the sandwich the carrot chutney is listed as; carrots, sugar, onions and white wine. This seems quite simple, anyone got a recipe to go with the ingredients?

With a chutney of that sort you normally chop your carrot, and put all the ingredients in a pan, bringing it to the boil, then simmer. For over an hour or so until the liquid is thick.
This is a pear chutney where the method and amounts should work fine. http://www.allotment.org.uk/recipe/2...hutney-recipe/ |
