I've seen them sold on eBay for a good price, for use with microwave broadband. I've also read on other forums that the website is back up and running, so its possible the service might return.

Its one of those things that varies enormously, a few years ago you would have got £20 but Radio Amateurs like to modify them and they now go for £50 to £75. But as its a specialist thing, you can't guarantee there will be buyer. So set the start price high.

So what sort of thing can you do with these dishes and the module?

What radio amateurs do I don't know. (some form of microwave link?).
But I have seen the 'dishes' used with microwave broadband systems in rural areas. I don't know if the module is worth anything.
