Streaming vs downloading
Now that you can stream music whenever you want, is there any need to download?

Yes, if you want to keep the music and take it somewhere you dont have a computer or internet access.

People might want to listen to it on a hi-fi, in their car etc.

There's no such thing as streaming anyway.

For people like me it is, i tend to listen to music on my computer when i'm home, I do have an ipod but it's full and don't want to delete any songs from it.
However downloading especially illegal won't die until bands like Led Zepplin, Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers etc allow their music to be streamed. Itunes wouldn't be happy if spotify/napster took away a large chunk of their customers though |

We7 is a streaming site which plays alot of music, I find it cool to listen to a song whilst on the internet if it's not already on my ipod, and I don't wanto buy/keep it, but I want to hear it at that particular moment. That's the only time it would be useful. Apart from that, downloading will always be my usual option because you can carry it around with you.
