Ideas From BB OZ.

Face to face nominations have been confirmed for BB Australia. Wonder if we will get them here? Would they have the effect of stirring things up or making the housemates more reserve?

Here are a few more of the rumours presently doing the rounds in the world of the BB Australia fan sites :

- Thermal cams so viewers can see what is going on under the blankets!!!

- A weekly challenge, the winner being granted immunity from being nominated for eviction plus the opportunity to save two others from the process.

- Discussion of nominations to be allowed.

- The return of housemates from the previous series.

- Big Brother housemates to be distracted and harassed with the help of break-ins, secret messages, conflicting instructions etc

Any thoughts on all this? I'd certainly like to see some of these ideas introduced into the UK's BB5 House.

I quite like the thought of the last one. I don't think they should be allowed to discuss nominations though, I prefer that aspect to remain secret. I also don't like the idea of previous housemates returning, I think that as soon as they're in, they should be sealed off from the outside and when they've gone, that's it, NO return. I still think it was a bad decision to bring Claire in on the first series.

They do seem to look to other countries to get their ideas. I think the Dutch and German shows have had Big Brother The Battle, maybe our BB5 will see more ferocious live challenges. I liked the introduction of the Saturday night live challenges in BB3 so I hope they keep that.

Hi Achtung. I like that last idea as well. A BB that is neither nasty nor nice but playful and naughty.

I'm not too sure about the discussion of nominations. I tend to think 'no' but I am not totally convinced.

As for HMs arriving later in the series. I'm in favour of this as it's always interesting to watch reactions. However, I do believe that any reserves should be kept in waiting overseas somewhere, with an Endemol minder making certain that they do not know what is happening in the UK BB House.

The latest rumour from the BB OZ fan sites ....

''The fourth Big Brother series is well-shrouded in secrecy. Is it a pregnant housemate, a baby, a monkey? The rumours are all over the place.

But the latest is that Hollywood brat and hotel heiress Paris Hilton could be a Big Brother intruder. Hilton will be in the country for about two weeks and the Big Brother series is all set to premiere on May 2. So, it is quite likely that the socialite will play the BB intruder, reports The Herald Sun.

Last year's glamorous intruder, UK housemate Anouska Golebiewski, didn't exactly set the world on fire, but Hilton is expected to do so.''

All the things stated above are just rumours, but Big Brother has a secret which will be revealed during the launch show on Sunday.

How about a big twist like last year, and get the person with the biggest personality and boobs out first, if they had done that the year before jade would have been out first.

I hope they learn this year

If someone walks out this year, I really, really hope that they don't bring in a new housemate. Firstly, it's obvious that the producers do it to cause friction, because all the other housemates have bonded together. Secondly, I don't think it's far on the housemates who have been in the house from day 1. I would go bloody crazy if I was an original housemate and someone who came in 4 weeks before the show ended won.
