That was my fave too!

I enjoy props generally but not the flying. Think the men usually look daft - Ray was OK but preferred him to be skating.

Having said that I've just watched Dan on the Tour (youTube) doing a 'flying' routine using pieces of silk and it was fab!

I loathe props week.....don't think I've seen a routine I liked yet where they used props.
Flying is ok, but I'd happily live without it.

There is only so many props that they can use, so every year they seem to struggle to come up with something original!

No one can surpass Stefan & Kristina's Mr Bojangles routine with the broom

Not keen on the props either, seems some get 'better' props than others, having said that I loved Donal and Florentine last year with the broom!

I think the broom is the only one that they can create a nice routine around, remember the footballer that skated with Frankie....Lee ? they had the broom as well, even though Jason said Lee was more wooden than the broom!

Nope, but then I was never a fan of Donal, I didn't really enjoy any of his performances.

I quite enjoy prop week, and agree about Stephan and Kristina's routine being a favourite.

There is definitely a props week to come as Jayne has mentioned it in her column in Woman's Own.

Agree and thats why a broom is inherently better to get - you can act and sweep with it, wave it, dance with it or straddle it. The chair just allows people to sit on it and the judges criticise them for sitting and not moving. The table is impossible to move or do anything other than stand on it, lie on it or vanish under it - none of which are very exciting. Its a task where what you get decides your maximum mark and rarely does the choregraphy make up the difference.

And flying week when there are 4 left in but all 5 start practising it the week before.”

Last year:

Ray with a hat

Donal with a broom

Jess with an umbrella

Coleen with a boa

Zoe with a baton

Roxy with a chair

Semi-finalists rehearse the flying but only the finalists perform it
