iPhone own ringtone
How do I use my own music/tones for ringtones on the iPhone 3GS without jailbreak? Can this be done?

Yes you can make your own ringtones without jailbreak. I use iRinger. Its very easy to use and it puts the ringtone into your itunes aswell. All you have to do is then sync them up to your iPhone.
You will not be able to use them as txt tones. You will need to jailbreak to get custom txt tones. ![]()

It can also be done with iTunes itself. I have done it a few times with songs that aren't downloaded from iTunes and it works grand. The only thing is that you can only have the ringtone to be a maximum of 40 secs. Having said that, after 40 secs I would expect either the person to have hung up, me to have answered or my voicemail to kick in.
You can find the instructions Here Any isues then give me a shout back
