Why , as in last nights show, is it always the girls in the bottom two at such a stage. OK, the boys left are all average looking but surely even women have moved on from such sexist thinking, or, have we all been mislead?
It looks like we have, the girls will always be seen as second class citizens in such events due to girls own voting. Bizarre

some women have moved on from being indiscriminate male worshippers and some haven't. Seems the type who vote a lot haven't

Firstly, we don't have the gender distribution of votes (e.g. most of the people voting last night could have been males). Secondly, although we know that Mikey got a lot of votes (being in the bottom), and Daniella must have gotten the fewest votes (or close to), we don't quite know the distribution of votes for the other contestants. Emily was joined second last, which means according to the judges, she was one of the weaker skaters. Obviously Kieron had a higher vote, but as far as I can tell he seems to have some gay following, and not just girls voting for him.

I'm not saying you are wrong in your assumption, but there is not much evidence to back it up.

Last year at this stage there was the reverse - 4 girls and 2 boys

Jessica, Coleen, Zoe & Poxy | Donal and Ray

This year 4 boys 2 girls.

Just the way it goes sometimes

I don't think it's a gender issue.

Otherwise Suzanne Shaw would never have beaten hot favourite Chris Fountain.

It was tough to call it this week. Aside from Mikey, no one stood out as really good or bad.

You're right... she was 10 times worse and by far the worst celeb to perform on DOI
