Do any men on here have monobrows? If so do you shave it off in the middle?

I have one and like it. I think it adds character. But what do others think? Do women like them?

This isn't really the sort of topic I usually post about but some people think my monobrow needs to go.

How clear/obvious is your monobrow?

Bushy eyebrows I can deal with...but full on monobrows just aren't for me. Maybe it's because I grew up reading A Series of Unfortunate Events (Count Olaf) and because the last dentist to try to wrench a tooth out of my mouth looked just like that...but they make my skin crawl. IMO, they look scruffy and vaguely primitive.

It is obvious from close to medium range. The bridging hairs are about half as dense as my actual eyebrows.

I think if you come from one of those ethnicities where it is normal in men than I wouldn't worry. But it would look a bit um.. well 'out of place' on North European men.

I don't think that's too bad then. If you feel comfortable having it, then I don't see any problem with it. I personally don't like them but that's just me.

Indeed if it was like Burt's from Burt & Ernie then I would probably shave it off. As it stands it's not too "in your face."

I pluck my eye brows because I get a few fine hairs in the middle, and to each side of the eye brows I don't like how long they are so I pluck there too.

I have occasionally trimmed my monobrow bridge a little. It does sometimes start to grow down the top of my nose and that can look untidy. As long as it's neat I don't mind.

I call it the unibrow, somehow that sounds cool

As a woman I don't like them or dislike them...depends on the face I guess...some faces just suit them more than others!

Depends on who told you it has to go, too

Today it was a family member. A while ago a friend told me that he shaves his off completley and thought I should do the same.

Hmm unibrow does sound less mundane.

I shave mine off completely in the middle, and pluck around the edge of each eyebrow to keep them tidy. They look too "full on" otherwise.

I think it is fairer to leave them or at least warn women before it gets to serious. You don't want the first they know of it to be when little Grizelda is born looking like that thing from Shrek.
It's about honesty.

I did once shave mine off a couple of years ago. But it grew back pretty fast. And then I forget it's even there unless someone mentions it.

Shave off the middle space, you mean? Must be one difficult shave tho...imagine if your hand shakes while doing it!

Why shave? Pluck, thread or wax. It'll last longer.

Especially if he was born feet-first on Christmas Day.

Me too, otherwise not only would it join fairly fully in the middle, it would also start growing down my nose too

I would have one, but my daughter plucks the odd hair out if I nod off on the sofa, the little minx.
