I'm not reall sure where to post this but i'll start here.

I have a top up TV luxor 250 box and am trying to connect it all up to my TV but basically we set it up tune it in and then the first channel i go to is the only channel i can get even though it says when tuning it has found 74 channels and they all apppear in the TV guide but i cant view any of them.

Anyone know what to do?

What is your local transmitter?

Have you tried to scan for channels again?

It may be worthwhile to check the signal strength readings for the frequencies (so called Muxes) that the box selects during the Channel Scan operation.

From memory, selecting [Menu][Setup][Help] and then pressing blue button will bring you to the Tuning Information. Here, you will see the frequencies that the unit has selected (for a full service, you need six of these, though you may see seven if you receive signals from two different ITV/STV regions, or five if you're in a Freeview-lite area). You will probably need signal quality of 6 or higher to get a decent reception.

You can check what frequencies you are likely to receive by using the postcode checker at http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/home -- select 'I am an aerial installer' to get detailed info on frequencies available in your area.
