Nothing worse than taking a bite of a meat pie and finding a big lump of hot, soft fat in your mouth. I have been known to gag severely on the few occasions it's happened to me. Oh dear, I feel ill just thinking about it.

Urgh, or a lump of gristle in a sausage. <boak> I only eat Quorn sausages now, or the ones my butcher makes (his wife is my eldest son's Godmother and he makes the best sausages ever. I get them at a great price too).

Yeah, that is grim, but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who liked that. Everything else in this thread must have people who like them. Well, maybe not the big lump of fat in a pie - - but the rest.

As for me, I don't mind some fruit in some savoury things, like pork with apple sauce or a nice fruity cumberland sauce with pate. And I love fruit in chutneys, which eat with ham or cheese and bread. But pineapple on pizza is a crying shame. Anchovies and olives are what I want on a pizza.

Tell you what I can't stand - runny eggs. Soft boiled/poached/fried eggs make me heave. I like them all when the yolks are hard, but runny ones make me gag.
I know. I'm odd. Everyone says so.

Bits of eggshell in a fried egg. When I feel it crunch in my teeth I have to stop eating and spit it out. Puts me right off.

As a child I refused to eat beef in a stew or casserole because of the fear of getting a chewy bit or a lump of fat. Now I cook my own food I make sure every bit of fat is cut off before it's cooked.

I don't like whites of eggs that are not set (reminds me of sumthing out of your nose) - YUCKYDOODLE! An underdone boiled egg is gross - and I turn over my fried eggs or splash them with fat to make sure theyre def cooked.

Rarely eat eggs when I'm out now for this reason!

I agree with this. I like the yolk to be runny though.

I also prefer a runny yoke - but it's a fine line between the whole thing being runny (white an all - again YUCK) or the whole thing being a bit overdone. Bugga
