Hello i need some advice I am busy bleaching my hair at the moment and using loads of conditioner to keep it from falling out ect.... I am a guy with short hair and I am wanting to go paper White. I went into a salon supply store the oter day to buy some toners and the woman in the shop said in order to get my hair paper White I specific toner she give me a loreal p01 blue toner. And said this will make it go as close to White as possible. However everyone on the Internet are using violet toners to make there hair go white. Will my blue toner work the same way as a purple toner or do I have to take it back to the shop and get a purple toner? I am wanting to put zebra stripes on so I really want it White and I know it can be done because my cousin has had his White before.

I used to have mine a white/blonde and I used to get it bleached and then use a silver shampoo which you can get from most salons. It is used to take the yellow out so if you use it daily to shampoo your hair you can get it white.

try Philip Kingsley.com

Pure Silver Shampoo £16 and conditioner £13 roughly

works wonders...

As mentioned, get a blue/purple shampoo. L'oreal do the best one, imo.

Also, go to Superdrug and get their 97p 8.1 toner. It's a phenomenon!

After you've bleached it a couple of times, you could use Manic Panic Virgin Snow toner, it seems to work well and give good results, there's a useful link here and it looks as though it's quite reasonable, you can buy it from quite a few goth/indie places in most city centres and there are a lot of shops online. Good luck
