Recommendations for a digital TV
Hi all
I am interested in buying a new digital TV and am after some advice and recommendations. I would prefer the TV not to need a CAM but to be able to accept my ITV Digital card direct. Having said this I don't really understand if having a CAM is a benefit or not - advice please! I'm looking for between 28-32", must have multiple SCART and support RGB. Any suggestions gratefully received. |

I've had a sony dx-30 (28") for about a 8 months now and I'm really happy with it. The cam from ITV digital worked out of the box, and I've not had any problems with it at all so far. Great picture, excellent sound.

When you get it make sure the first thing you do is set the digital tuner to RGB as composite is default for some reason.

Can you take an S-Video ouput from a digital TV signal and record to SVHS with this (or any) IDTV ?
This one thing you can't do with a digi cable STB (unless you convert the RGB). |
