Suspect its higher as the weak skater but the right age and the middle-aged male appeal vote have hung about longer in recent series and have been in the 40% region. They also feature in most other recent reality TV shows too. In his case you can add the boyband vote, a regional vote and a sympathy vote.
The interesting thing on the other side of the equation is where the people who have left's votes are going. There you may have the recent X factor phenomena that Alexandra Burke's vote goes up in line with the other females leaving and this year the X factor girls seemed to share a fixed proportion of the vote. That may help Daniella and Hayley next week but after that its going to be people who voted for a male loking for somone new to vote for and this series its the weaker males who have had big votes not a Colleen. Hayley can't do a Suzanne Shaw and overtake from behind in ability and votes. Her obvious story is she is good and always has been - even though actually improving from where she was to where she is is probably a harder journey than anyone else's. The three younger males all seem to have had big problems with their vote . Daniella has problems with her vote. Mikey's vote should crumble on merit but may not if there's no one with a story or another male with enough ability or likeability for it to go to.
The other thing is that all the results so far are consistent with the supposed early leak of the voting percentages. Emily lost support as she did better which often happens. Sharon gained an anti-Jason vote but then lost it (or had it spun away from her) The boys skated a bit better and some may have picked up Dr H 's vote. Otherwise, we are still where the leak would have us.
