Interesting. Thought GaGa wrote it. I like Britney, but I'm glad she didn't get it.

Pretty sure Gaga did write it, it's just that originally she wrote it for Britney to record. In the end that didn't happen so she just recorded it herself.

She co-wrote Drumming Song, the only other song on the album (other than YGTL) that she doesn't have songwriting credits on is Girl With One Eye which was written by The Ludes (a band she performed with a few times around London, and I think one of them was her guitarist in the early days).

I Turn to you by Xtina is about thanking a parent figure. In this case, it was her mum.

Linda Perry wrote Beautiful and refused to show anyone it as it was so personal to her. She showed it to Pink who loved it and asked to have it on her Misunderstood album but Perry declined and wanted it saved for her own solo career. When working with Aguilera, she showed her it and was blown away from her rendition of it leading it to be one of Christina's signiture songs to date. Beautiful was known as Christina's comeback single as she took a two year break and her lead single Dirty was unsuccessful in the US.

Xtina didn't want The Voice within as a single. She originally wanted Impossible. She didn't want the song Hurt to be a single as well.

Slow down baby, a track from her Back to basics album is co written by Mark Ronson.

Brendon Urie stars in Fall Out Boy's music video for "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me".

The song "7 Minutes In Heaven (Atavan Halen)" from Fall Out Boy's From Under The Cork Tree L.P was written by lyricist Pete Wentz about his suicide attempt. ("Hum Hallelujah" was also written about this, as Pete said when he was ODing, the song he was listening to was Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah".) HH is such a sad song

Pete Wentz makes a cameo in Panic! At The Disco's video for "I Write Sins Not Tragedies".

There we are, some nice FOB orientated facts
