N97 virgin or tmobile users?
any of u on tmobile or virgin using a Nokia N97?

Im on virgin. I have a tmobile locked N97. Im wanting to do an OTA update but when tryin to do it via *#0000# it tells me i need to set up an access point. Ive tried various ways but it just dusnt waan work. The internet is workin ok using the tmobile internet and virgin internet yet the access point for the OTA update just dusnt wanna work

With the access points you need to set the priority under the destinations in the settings. |

When setting up the OTA update it asks for the update server address. Is that where you are entering the APN because if so that's what you are doing wrong.

Ive tried setting virgin tmobile and wifi as the priority yet still no look. If anyone could walk me thru usin either a virgin sim or a tmobile sim id be greatfull. It has to be OTA at the moment as i cant do it usin my laptop |

But you have put in the address of the Nokia update server etc?
(incidentally, I don't think that Virgin's APN will allow access through the correct port. I haven't been on Virgin for a while so it may have changed) |
