Putting Android onto a HTC Windows phone?
I have a HTC Touch 3G phone running Windows on it and i would like to run it on Android.
So is there anyway i can download Android onto it and Run it on that? |

I guess it would be possible if somebody ported a version of Android from another phone to make it work with the hardware.

Depends on the architecture of the phone. Some phones are quite tightly tied to their OS so others may not run on it.
I have an N900 and someone has ported Android to that (reasonably successfully). Windows 3.1 (???) has also been successfully tested as has Mac OS X but the two hour boot time will put most off .I got my N900 myself (well my company did) via Nokia mid contract and I am due an 'official' upgrade soon so I might look at an Android phone as they certainly appear to be going places. |
