Thank you every one for your kind words it means an awful lot to me, I'm not finding losing her any easier yet but i suspect it going to take a while she was such a big part of our family. My husband and I spend alot of time remembering funny things she's done, because she was such a charachter there are plenty of stories to tell, and we hope in time we will be able to get through a story without tears.

It made me feel disloyal even thinking about getting another puppy, but my kids really wanted to so I agreed. We got one six weeks later and it turned out to be the best thing. She was adorable and we all had something to look after and talk about together. And she kept me very busy which helped a lot. So please do think about another pup to love when you're ready.”

Thankyou Maybelle
My children really want to get a new puppy as well, I've told them I will think about it, but I'm really not ready yet, I think in a silly way I would feel I was betraying Casey memory by getting a new dog, so straight away and also I'm not sure I could go through the heartbreak of losing something so precious to me again. I hope in time I will feel differently, My home doesn't feel right without the pitter patter of paws around the place
