BT Vision cabling
Why does it need to be on Ethernet 1?
Can I use a hub behind the TV for other Ethernet items and share the connection to the hub? |

Socket 1 of the Hub has QOS {quality of service}enabled on it.
I have a 5 port ethernet switch plugged in at the other end of a 10mtr ethernet cable without issues.

I should have said "Socket 1 of the Hub should have QOS {quality of service}enabled on it. As it is not always enabled by BT when you order BT Vision.

Port 2 is connected to a extremely locked down WEP wifi access point (used ONLY for the nintendo DS's and PSP's) and BT Vision works fine, and my downloads get a little slower when something on demand kicks in. |
