I don't think the sort of people who did this are worth rehabilitating. Lock them up in a dark cellar somewhere, throw away the key. Alternatively burn them at the stake and see how they like it.

I don't want to read it but if it is animal cruelty people should get the same amount of prison time for harming a defelsless animal than they do a human

Where I live, there have been 2 dog killings this year already. One was beaten and left by the river and another was chained to a lamp post with a bag over it's head. The chain looked like it had been there so long, the skin had grown over it, the photo was horrible

I'm the same... I dont actually want to read it if its anything to do with pet cruelty. Makes me cry and I dont want to do that.

Same here, the title says it all and I can't understand why anybody could ever do anything cruel to any animal, especially a gorgeous faithful dog, man's best friend, who just wants to love us unconditionally. VERY VERY SAD, WICKED PEOPLE!!

Which, sadly, is hardly ever long enough.

If I ever caught someone doing this I wouldn't think twice of doing it to them.

Hopefully the vigilantes within society will catch the person/people responsible and ensure they pay. With pain!

That is so sad, why could anyone do this to a living animal. I think i want to cry.

Animal cruelty has been linked to worse crimes as time goes on, so I hope they find the perps if for no other reason than to prevent that.

I just read the headline and couldn't read anymore, it made me feel sick.

Two Staffy's have been found dead in London recently - tied to a lampost with a plastic bag over their heads and left to suffocate.

I mentioned that above, I didn't know it was 2 staffys now. One other dog was beaten to death but I don't know if they are linked to the staffys.

I'm usually a pretty liberal person, but I'd happily bring back the death penalty for people who commit this kind of evil

One of our cats was found stuffed down a toilet in a plastic bag - he was only about 4 weeks old. Fortunately he was found, and he was a feisty little thing, squaring up to the vet! I don't understand what goes through people's heads, but I don't think you can educate them - it's patently obvious what constitutes cruelty, so if they are cruel to animals it's because they want to be.

I'll buy the petrol and you bring the matches and the rope....

That poor poor dog. What is wrong with some supposed human beings? I hope they catch the monsters who did this act of beyond cruel belief. I hope at least one of them cannot sleep at night remembering the torture that poor animal went through in her short life.

I rescued a dog once and the owners that mistreated him and abused him got a taste of their own medicine.
I can't understand how people can carry out some of the acts they do for pleasure.

Whenever I see a thread in pets where it has made OP cry, I know I shouldn't open it as it will probably have the same effect on me.
