For some time now I have been craving these little joys from my childhood. They were mini pretzens covered in chocolate & salt and came in a blue shiny bag. I cant seem to find them anywhere!

Actually this reminds me of puffs the crisps too. Whatever happened to them? I used to love the tomato flavour, crunching them all into pieces and then tippping the lot down my neck in 1 gulp lol

The chocolate covered pretzels are really easy to make at home, I used to love Flipps too. But you just need to buy a bag of pretzels which I normally get from a health food shop coz they're usually cheaper, melt chocolate (either white or milk), dunk the pretzels and leave them to dry and on a sheet of greaseproof et voila! For Christmas I like to buy the jumbo pretzels, cover them in milk chocolate and then drizzle white chocolate all over, or half dunk them in chopped nuts or sprinkles... Fabulous!

That sound wonderful and I think I will try that as an Easter Treat.

That's a really good idea, Thanks.

I would have liked them if they never had the salt! I just couldn't like the sweet / salt combination!
