..according to the Daily Star..

BOYZONE star Mikey Graham has become the secret new favourite to win the show.

Hot TV has had a sneaky peek at the voting figures for the ITV1 series.

And even though soap babe Hayley Tamaddon, 33, has been tops since day one, Mikey has now taken over her lead.

..and Danniella struggling

I'm sad that Daniella is struggling i really like her and Kieron thier performances always make me smile.

I always thought Mikey was gonna be favourite to win, lets face it he's gonna have the biggest fanbase by far, if it was him and Hayley in the final i'd deffinitely put my money on him.

I don't think it's surprising as the fact he was injured was repeated throughout the show and after on twitter so that called his fans into action. That said I would hate it if he won because Hayley, Daniella and even Gary and Kieron are much more talented on the ice.

But we all know talent counts for nothing in these type of shows.

I suppose Danniella is like Jessica last year, what a shame

Not exactly shocking that Mikey is out in front. I think they'll probably finish in this order:

1. Mikey
2. Hayley
3. Gray
4. Danny
5. Daniella
6. Kieron

Not the way it should be, but there you go. I'd much rather watch a Danny, Daniella and Kieron final than a Mikey, Hayley and Gary final, but not much chance of that...

Well I would be happy to see Daniella or Kieron in the final whether that is possible or not!

Jeesh, scenario 1 sounds dull.

Well if you're going to talk about the way it "should" be, at least include the best skaters. Otherwise, there's no need for the high horse.

Anyone who thinks Mikey shouldn't be there, surely wants a Gary, Hayley & Daniella final.

According to those figures Mikey overtook Hayley for the first time last week i.e. the week he was injured, which means of course he is not automatic favourite.

We also have to take into account where the votes will go as other skaters are knocked out. The bookies and everyone else thought Chris Fountain was home and dry until the actual final - nothing can be discounted at this stage.

Nope - you see some people have different opinions to yourself, Strictly. I know this may come as something of shock to you.

Gary could make any final dull as ditchwater. IMO.

Agree with Danny and Kieron. But Daniella (yes I like her) but I'd rather see Hayley. I find her a joy to watch (yet she get on my nerves - the voice)

I normally take the Daily Star with a very large pinch of salt but they were accurate when they said that Chris Hollins had been leading the public vote in Strictly (and that was about halfway through the series).

If the story is true, then it seems Hayley has been top every other week, so think that would still make her the favourite. Shame about Daniella - I can't understand why public at large hasn't warmed to her. Perhaps some people just can't overlook her past which is a shame. I think she's far more likeable than Hayley. I haven't disliked Hayley until recently but I am really getting fed up of this fake 'showmance' stuff with Dan which she seems to be pushing at every opportunity & insulting our intelligence..

The problem Daniella has is she doesn't pimp her kids, like Gary, doesn't pimp her injuries every week, like most of the others, and doesn't pimp her 'dark days'.
She's always very matter of fact about her past and doesn't use it to try and garner sympathy as many other celebs do.
It's why I like her, but it's not a vote winner on a show like this.
You need to pimp yourself or have the judges slagging you off, which hasn't happened with her either.
She just works hard. Rarely moans. Performs consistently well every week. No dramas. No traumas. Smiles. Makes a self depricating quip and that's that.
That's not enough, unfortunately.

I can't for the life of me understand how obvious friendship can be interpreted as showmance.

It's common knowledge that Dan is gay - and Hayley is engaged.

How does Gary pimp his child? I've seen her in the audience (where I've also seen Daniella's youngsters) - and once I think on a vt, but not so frequently as to warrant an accusation of pimping. Besides it's the producers who decide how the vts are edited; we see what they want us to see.

As for injuries - Kieron's lip could hardly go unnoticed; Hayley was injured on live television so was hardly in a position to hide it, but she made no fuss and we saw no more of it than we did Daniella's knees.

Danny has remained injury free and I've seen no attention seeking there - only with Mikey have I seen the producers courting the sympathy vote (injury and Stephen G).

I'm not a Daniella fan and there are times I think she's been overmarked, but again that's just opinion and not her fault anyway.

imo she fully deserves respect and admiration for beating her addiction and coming out the other side as a down to earth, self deprecating young woman with such a positive attitude to life - but I think it's possible to give credit where it's due without slagging off other contestants.

That's rubbish - Jessica was a very strong skater . When she was on the ice anyway - her lifts weren't up to much...

Yes, sorry, it is rubbish I didn't like her though nor her know-it-all husband but she was a much better skater than Daniella.

On here maybe, but probably not with your average viewer.

His 3rd week VT was a blatant attempt to use his daughter and private life to boost his vote.
It's clearly worked.
Danniella hasn't done that I hope she doesn't do it this week or I'll have egg on my face.

As for injuries - Kieron's lip could hardly go unnoticed; Hayley was injured on live television so was hardly in a position to hide it, but she made no fuss and we saw no more of it than we did Daniella's knees.
I've had bigger cuts shaving.
As for his head injury the week before that he was pimping all week on twitter, it was a tiny graize. I was expecting pools of blood the fuss he was making

Hayley is another one who has latched onto the power of an injury and most of her tweets seem to mention some minor knock now.

Unless I've missed her on there Danniella is the only one who hasn't succumbed to the latest phenomenom of pimping youself on twitter when you're on these shows.

All I'm saying is she doesn't play the game like the others.
That's one of the reasons she's struggling in the vote imo.

This week we might see tears and cameras in her family home showing her kids pleading for votes, but I sincerely hope not.

I can't even remember who she is
Skated with Pavel - came third. Married to cricketer Kevin Pieterson. Tall, fair, very slim, pretty.

As far as actual skating was concerned, I always thought she was as strong or stronger than Suzanne or Clare. However, she didn't really have the wow factor they did partly due to the fact that she was quite a lot taller and couldn't pull off the same showy lifts.

That's my point. Therefore they should act like mates in interviews etc.

I watched them on the Alan Titchmarsh show in the week and they certainly acted like mates, where is this coming from?

DOI Friday last night was a particularly cringeworthy example...

Haven't seen the Titchmarsh interview - am at work when that's on & can't be bothered to watch that rubbish on ITV Player. DOI Friday last night was quite blatant IMO.

I'm sorry but you've lost me - I see nothing wrong with close friendship between the sexes nor do I think that they try to incite the sort of 'are they, aren't they?' curiousity of which they're accused.

I see their relationship as nothing more than pals completely at ease with each other - and without the need to either hide or invent a non existent romance.

They seem genuine extroverts - and act accordingly. Why should they conform in a manner dictated by others?
