Was that the 'crush' she had on him when she was a teenager?
Her present day crush

Her present day crush
Why would she have a 'crush' on someone who is gay? Does she say she has a crush on him?

You haven't answered my question on whether she admits to having a crush on him? Or is that just the mag saying it?

Why would she think that when she has been leading from the beginning?

I think River Man is referring to the public vote & not the judges.

People can have a crush on someone who is gay. I have a crush on Johnny Depp (he is not gay, but unobtainable) despite being in a long happy relationship (12 years). If I had the opportunity to spend some time with Johnny tomorrow, I would and I would have a crush on him despite the fact that I'm happy in my other relationship.

If you had a crush on someone, and they were gay, maybe I could still enjoy their company (if I wasn't a complete cynic).

OK but does Hayley admit to having a crush on Daniel in that article?

I believe it's an interview with her, but I don't have a copy to hand, but yes she admits to having a crush on him as she has on other shows.
Including the friday show just gone.

I think she's hugley competitve and is desperate to win the show. That's not a trait I like in people, especially when it's hidden behind a 'butter wouldn't melt in my mouth' facade.

Each to their own I guess.

That's the way you see her, by the way, do you know her? You seem to know her very well by your comments.

Anyway, I support Hayley because she is the best all round skater on the show not because of her personality or the way she looks, purely on her talent and her performances.

I think that's really harsh. And I don't actually mind watching someone that loves the show, loves skating, enjoys competing and would like to take the trophy home....at the end of the day, that's the point in a 'competition.'

Nor me. That's why I like Danniella and want her to win.

I'm not sure it's harsh. Hayley is clearly incredibly talented and enjoying her time on the show. I'm just not keen on all the canvassing for votes.
Of course they all do a certain amount of canvassing, but she and others take it to the extreme.
I felt the same about Chris Hollins and all this Team Cola, Yeah Baby and Ola chops, nonsense.
Thankfully he dropped it towards the end and he was a very deserving winner. More deserving than Ricky Whittle anyway.
I'm probably just an old grouch who thinks it should be about the taking part and not all about the winning.

No I don't know her.
I just come to my conclusions, sometimes/often wrong ones, from watching the show.
Much like yourself and everyone else.

But surely they all want to win, they are all trying really hard so they must want to win. I don't believe they are just doing it for the experience.

Well, I could quite as easily argue that Daniella made a fair task of it getting her point across last week that she had 'sore knees'...it's all I heard her talk about. Mikey's injury was also played upon. Gary said he was going to propose to his girlfriend if he won, Danny was so delighted to get off the '17' spot and made a big deal about that...and Hayley has a nice partnership with Dan, and likes to show that off.

So you should really be complaining about every other contestant if your annoyed at the 'canvassing' for votes...as they are all guilty.

Except perhaps Hayley

Yep, I'm sure they all want to or would like to win. Some people on these shows seem desperate to win though and would exploit any angle to achieve that goal.
I sense that could be the case with Hayley, but I could be wrong.

As someone who follows her on twitter I'm surpirsed you missed her complaining about her injuries all of last week

This seems a strong reaction from what you have seen from the show. What makes you think Hayley is more desperate than the rest?

They all complain, all the time. Perhaps the rest don't have time to go on twitter, they are too busy practicising.

Actually, it's quite refreshing to see a celeb taking some time out of their busy schedule to interact with the people who are voting for them, be it Hayley, Gary, Kieron, Danny or Mickey (to a lesser degree). The cynics may well call it canvessing but at least these people are making the effort to thank the people who are forking out the dosh to keep them in the competition. It's also nice to hear that they're having a most enjoyable time when they have some well earned time off.

I agree. On the whole most of the celebs seem to use Twitter in a really positive way. The insights you get into their lives are sometimes quite amusing - who'd have thought, for instance, that Kieron would have quite such an obsession with cheese, crackers, and Alan Carr.

It's a pleasure! At least you know that, if you vote, they are thanking people on Titter and Facebook
