Working on the basis that DS rarely reflects the real world (), I'm predicting that the two most popular skaters on here (going by the polls) - Kieron and Daniella - will both be in the skate-off this week.

With Kieron going.

Crappy result, but I think it's reasonably likely to happen.

Daniella will get the rebound votes
Danny will be high up on the leaderboard
Gary has the old women
Mickey has a lot of public support
Hayley will be high up too.
Which means i think the so will be between kieron and Hayley/Danny either way i am pretty confident keiron will go

He has a lot of appeal for the more mature lady, nothing wrong with that. I'd have thought you'd have been delighted - lots of votes there to keep in the competition!

Especially as he's been promoting his single this week.

How do you know?! If you look at Twitter, his supporters are young.

You have no proof of his voting demographic, that's my problem. Of course I don't care who is voting for him but I hate when people generalise like that, especially with no proof.

If I was to generalise though, I think older ladies would be more inclined to Keiron - young, skinny, a bit lost. Kind of a "son" figure for them.

He might have a lot of appeal for the more mature women, but IMO people who were avid Hollyoaks fans might even like him. He had a huge story line. Recently he was in the Bill so perhaps some fans from there.

Mikey will definitely be above Kieron & Danny this week. His routine is going to be amazing & Kieron can't really handle fast routines & Danny will probably slack because he worked so hard last week.

By using the verb think, you would be passing your opinion, not generalizing. If you generalize, you say something that seems to be true and in this case it is not true that all older women would think of Kieron as a "son" figure.

Well, the people who were avid Hollyoaks fans when he was on maybe - he hasn't been in the show for 8 years, so quite a lot of its current audience won't even remember who he is!

I don't think there's really anyone this year with 'granny appeal' of the type that Joe McElderry did so well out of on the X Factor last year, though.

Danny's probably the one with the youngest fanbase, I guess.

I think it could be a Danny v Daniella situation....but the bookies are pretty certain that Kieron will be knocked out. Depends entirely on the routine I guess.

Its actually neck and neck between Kieron and Danny on all the bookies - so nothing is certain.

However I'm getting the feeling Kieron maybe a goner tomorrow (hopefully not though)

Oddly Mikey is third favourite to go.

But the bookies are quite often wrong anyway - they can only guess for now, the same as us.

Some probably mid twenties, late twenties to early thirties I guess. What is so worrying is that Danny is the youngest, so why hasn't he got a young fan base? I ask myself in the very young dont like the very young. Infact he doesn't appear to have any fan base.

Yeah, but given he seems to have been primarily an out of work actor for the past 4 years since leaving Corrie, it's maybe not that surprising he hadn't built up legions of fans.

He's not that unpopular though - it's not as if he's in the SO every week or anything.

That is very true...I really hope Kieron is safe...I find him very entertaining.

I'm not really sure why everyone's so sure Keiron's gonna be in trouble...he survived last week, and we don't really have any indication he's not popular, whereas with Danny, for example, we have several skate offs.

Well in that case I hope Danny boy gets enough exposure to restart his career.
