Hiya, I would like to buy a new pair of jeans and although I love the look of skinny jeans, im not sure I could pull it off!I am a size 12 on bottom and think they could be a tad unflattering!I was on the newlook website and noticed they have jeans called slim leg jeas?How are these different to skinny jeans?Are they just that bit looser?Im after some sort of liek these style...

as they sem a bit more loose fitting but still have that nice finish at the ankle which looks great with heels!

I think skinny jeans are tight and quite stretch all over and are better for tucking into boots as you dont get any excess material. Slim leg jeans would go better with high heeled shoes or sandals imo.

The link is skinny jeans not slim. Slim will be a bit looser than that. I have slim fit boot leg jeans and slim fit straight leg ones as well as skinny. The best thing to do is go into a shop and try on the different styles. They are all labeled what fit they are in all shops.

What style jeans you buy also depends on what tops you have as skinny jeans are unforgiving and longer tops are better. Where as you can wear shorter ones with slim boot leg for e.g. I have lots of skinny jeans, jeggings and leggings and I wear either boots or heels with them, both look great.
