I've just been listening to The Who Live at Leeds for the first time in a long while. I had almost forgotten how great that gig sounded. Shame it happened before I was born

The Stone Roses at Spike Island is another I wish I could have been at.

Anyway, it got me thinking. Are there any gigs that you wish you'd been around for?

Ride, Brixton Academy, 1992. At 4 years old I was a wee bit young to attend!

I would of loved to have seen Oasis in their prime during the 1990s as well but again age was unfortunately against me...thankfully I finally fulfilled my wish to see them last summer before it was too late!

I wish I went to see The White Stripes when I had the chance. That was around the White Blood Cells era when they were getting big. That and seeing Leftfield live but I was too young the first time around anyway. Hopefully this summer it'll happen

Focus at The Rainbow.

I was around, but slightly too young to go.

I would love to have seen Bowie in his prime.

I wasn't yet alive though.

Which is a bummer.

And Oasis. Never got the chance to see them and don't think I ever will now

My first 'proper' gig was Oasis at Loch Lomond in 96.
Black Grape played too. Good but kind of hazy memories.

I saw Oasis at Wembley in July - I'm so glad I got to see them before they split, it was a great night!

I'd quite like to have been at the Robbie Williams' Knebworth gig (cliched I know!), as long as it was somewhere near the front.

I would have said Skunk Anansie because I never seen them when they split up... but they reformed and I seen them at last, plus more to come!

I bought tickets for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in Manchester in December but sadly my nanna died 2 days before so I had to abandon them. I went home (I live over 100 miles from my home town) so had no time to pass them on to anyone else.

I would have loved to have seen TLC just once. They were my childhood idols, especially Left Eye.

i saw oasis when they played a small club in belfast. sound was well dodgy. they found out that definitely maybe had reached no.1 in the album charts that night and cut the set short to go off and celebrate.

I wish I could have gone to Will's first solo concert at Killerton in Devon. But it was so expensive to get there that I chickened out!

For me, it would have to be the 100 Club Punk Festival in September 1976.

I was just a kid at the time, with no interest in music, but I've always envied those who actually got to see the Clash, The Sex Pistols, The Damned, The Buzzcocks and, for the first time ever, Siouxsie and The Banshees (with Sid Vicious on drums!) perform under the same roof.

I also missed seeing David Bowie perform at Murrayfield Stadium in 1983 as part of his Serious Moonlight Tour, because my parents forced me to go on holiday to Spain with them.

Every Britney tour. I don't care if she mimes. I love her and would love a time machine to take me to all her tours.

I'll go for that one too. I'd have been 13.

I wished that I had seen David Bowie when he came to our Carid Hall in Dundee in 1973. I wasn't well and was unable to go. I did see guitarist Mick Ronson though the following year when he made a solo album so that made up for missing Bowie a bit.
