Just thought I would start a lighter thread here.

I wondered if any of you fm's have regretted voting for some of the BB contestants that you voted to keep in, or even those you had voted out ?

Have you ever changed your minds on a contestant once they have left the BB house and are in the real world ?

I haven't regretted any of my votes so far, but have changed my mind about some contestants.

Started to go off Jade about a year back and btr finally decided me on that one.

Didn't mind PJ in the BB house, he could be fun at times, but his attitude since coming out stinks and have gone right off him now.

No, never. Happy with all my votes. I do feel guilty that I didn't vote even more for Adele. She was so badly treated.

Looking back I cannot think of one vote I would have changed in all 4 series.
However, I have changed my view of certain housemates since they left.
Paul Clarke - I couldn't stand him and spent a small fortune trying to get him out the house but I have been really surprised since he left. Apart from the first few weeks when Helen and him seemed to be spread over every magazine and newspaper going, he has had the good grace to slip quietly away into the background. I was wrong, I had him earmarked as a media wannabe.
Josh - Another least favourite HM who has impressed me since leaving with the way he only seems now to use the 'fame' BB gave him for raising money for charity not for himself.
Jade, PJ & Spencer - None of these I objected to in the house but since leaving they have all seemed to have changed for the worse.
Ray - I liked him in the house but don't any more.

As for the rest of them, I haven't seen any major changes since they were HMms, the goodies still seem like goodies and the baddies still stink

I haven't voted yet...............and what's more I would strongly advise me fellow FMs not to vote

I mean...........part of the glory that is BB is slagging off the stupid teenies and mindless tabloid-fodder who support the dolts and idiots in the house

How can we do that with a clear conscience if some of our members are indulging in this voting thing ?

Don't vote - spend your money on doughnuts !!

That's a sadness many of us have tried hard to come to terms with.

Never regretted a single vote. I don't regret voting for Jade after the BTR tantrum either - it was clear to me that those terrible pregnancy hormones that drove Jeff away first time had already kicked in.

Only ever regretted on thing about my DS column - slagging off Adele. I should have realised she was playing a role.

I voted in BB1 for Anna to win and have never regretted it as she should have been the winner, and I still think she is easily one of the best people ever to appear in any series of BB.

BB3 I voted to evict Spencer and was glad when he got thrown out ; I voted for Alex to win in the final, and I was disappointed when he didn't win as I thought he had been the most entertaining of the final four. I disliked Tim intensely, but I was so sure he would be evicted the week he was up, that I didn't feel the need to vote as I was certain he'd get the boot anyway, and he did.

In BB4 I voted like mad to try and evict Cameron the first week he was up for the vote, and was furious when he stayed, and couldn't face wasting more money on trying to evict him again as it became clear just how much BB was trying to manipulate it for him to win. Two weeks nominations exemptions yet still being allowed to nominate others; worst behaviour usually edited out; plus many other things, but I'm sure I don't need to continue as everyone who was around this forum during BB4 knows about all of this manipulation by the show.

I didn't vote in the final of BB4 as none of them were worthy of winning in my opinion, and there was no chance by then that anyone else could catch up with Cameron in the votes anyway.

I have noticed that as well. It is so funny. Mind you there are a few on sites like BBFans.

Agree with Elderflower that Josh is an absolute star. Then again, I can be smug because I liked him from the start! I would say that I'm a good judge of character EXCEPT for the fact that I loved Scott (BB4 - BB snore, more like) too and he turned out to be a right loser!

I regret not spending my life savings voting to have Cameron evicted. Och nooo, bad move TW.

Well, I voted for Cameron to win

Now being neither a teenager nor a reader of tabloids (and sadly, a watcher of a great deal of interactive coverage) I read all the vitriol directed at Cameron on here with a certain amount of bemusement - did I really miss something SO important to turn otherwise sane and rational people into the vitriol spouting types I read while I lurk...

Of course, I do regret not spending the GNP of a small nation to get Jade out.....

(And I must learn to spell...)

I've never voted in any reality telly progs EXCEPT once for Alistair in Fame Academy but as the BBC still wont publish the final votes, I suppose it was never counted

Blauwe-Jongen, that and the reason violaine gave regarding manipulation are the reasons I do not vote anymore. I can still watch, still get annoyed at the way the vote has gone, but for free.........then I can spend the money on (from swingaleg's sensible suggestion) doughnuts!!!!!

Surely it was people voting for Adele that saw her depart that Friday evening!

As I only voted for the winners of BB2 BB3 and BB4 I have no regrets.

As you know, Adele was edited in a very bad light to save Jade's skin. C4 appeared to be desperate to correct the damage that they had done to Jade.

Given that there were 4 HMs up for eviction that week Adele was evicted on a very small vote compared to those required to shift some of the others.

As Jonny was also up for eviction that week, a lot of his fans were present on that eviction night. They were the ones that gave Adele such a rough ride as she left the House. She had dared to speak the truth about Jonny and that was not to his fans liking.

What really winds me up is this Northern support nonsense.

However much of a tosser someone is, if they're from the North, they seem to get support from loads (but not all ) of other Northerners!

I'd never support someone just because they were from the South. I'd only ever support anyone who had genuinely earned my hard earned bucks - regardless where they came from

I don't understand it at all, and I think its very tiresome.
