Because you could have the best skaters on first and second and a series of weak ones on last. People would turn off after the first two or wouldn't tune in next week as they had sat through lots of bad ones in a row at the end. Putting the best on near the end if they can and someone good there anyway makes people wait and keep watching and the show ends on a high.

Clever of them as it would then show the vast difference between the two making it easier for a Hayley win. Bit risky knowing his fanbase though.

And yes, the ad breaks are far too frequent. I couldn't believe they were having another one, since we'd only watched one performer since the last one. If they keep this up it'll soon be as much ad time as actual programme time.

I don't know why but I am rather shocked. Chris Dean has never been very good at holding a marriage together, mind you, if he treats his wives like he does with Jayne when she gets a bit of skating wrong, it's kind of no wonder.

My thoughts on Karen Barber are that she is rather ruthless .... she's always been a bit mardy with Nicky Slater as if it's a bitter feud they have, on her side only though.

It was a spin and he spun. I've stated earlier that the toplessness did nothing for me. I didn't approve of it as a tactic on Strictly, and certainly don't see the point here - unless they went the whole hog and put him in shorts, as well.

IMO Mikey is nowhere near as good a skater as Hayley, but TBH none of the rest of them is either. I agree he has a lot of fans though so could def end up in the final and maybe even win.
