Gary's inane constant grinning is so irritating, Jason's right. Gary is supposed to be a professional actor, though you'd never guess it. Imagine him in the original John Travolta part in Pulp Fiction with that silly grin.....

Much of the marking is about the quality of the routine - T and D can't give themselves bad marks. Like Karen they shouldn't mark people they coach either. Robin and Emma could mark it alone if they marked out of ten to get enough variation. She marks more rationally than Jason or Nicky and usually agrees with Robin anyway.
