It's interesting that you complain that Jason is vile and his comments are inexcusable. On many occasions I've witnessed you using harsh insulting language. Your above post being a prime example. Where I come from we have a fantastic phrase.

I didn't think Danny was Jason or Emma type. On one of the friday shows, she even said Danny would go. Jason has never said anything negative or positive about Danny. If anything his comments have usually been about skating or something Danny could do to be good. So I am a little surprised about all that drooling.

I'm assuming that all those up in arms about Jason's behaviour would also be horrified by Arlene's when she was on SCD.....pretty similiar when it comes to hot men.

I'm suggesting he is unable to make constructive comments which is why he insults people. He then tries to sound knowledgeable by going on about their arms.

If he does have any knowledge to offer I've never seen it. He clearly comes in primed with his headline insults and then amidst booing says something like 'What I mean is, when you did such and such your arms did such and such'. His critique is always secondary to his insults.

I don't see why anyone's sticking up for him anyway - he clearly thinks there's nothing wrong with criticising people in the crudest terms so why would he mind people criticising him?

I don't care if Robin is gay or straight - I think he is a very good judge, as is Karen. Nicky can be extremely harsh but he does know his stuff.

I actually thought his comments on Danny were some of his more acceptable "physique" comments. At least they had some humour to them, unlike his comments to Sharron, Kieron and Kelly Holmes a few years ago.

As for Holly "choosing" who to ask for comments.....I think not, as if the producers would give her free reign who to ask....I'm sure she has someone in her ear telling her who to talk to next.

Whilst I wouldn't describe myself as up in arms at Jason's comments, yes, basically I am fed up with seeing supposed 'professional' judges practically slavering over the attractive contestants. Sadly, it is far more likely these days to be women behaving like sex starved bitches on heat over every halfway decent looking male that crosses their path. Anyone would think they spent the rest of the year locked up in a convent!

It's not just Emma, (and Jason), Arlene Philips does it, Danni & Cheryl do it, Sharon Osborne did it... the list is endless... It would possibly be slightly less of an irritation if it didn't seem so forced and insincere, although I doubt it!

If the male judges behaved that way over female contestants there would be uproar and cries of harassment and inappropriate comment, and I don't see why it should be any more acceptable when it's female judges and male contestants

I do wish that some people would stop screaming 'homophobe' when a criticism is made of a gay man, especially when the poster says the same thing about a woman in the same post. Why seize on one comment and not the other?

I didn't see any of Jason's comments, or anyone else's, because i watch a recording and fast forward through everything but the skating now, but Arlene used to annoy me when she would start drooling and alliterating on SCD. I'm glad they got rid of her, she was acting like some dirty old woman, and whilst I can completely understand someone appreciating a fit young body, to go on about it on a family show in quite that way is embarrassing and uncomfortable for some viewers.

That's great - and I'd hope most people here feel the same.

But just as a point of reference, my reaction of mild surprise would have been the same had I heard he was Australian, or wore a wig, or anything along those lines.

Nicky is my favourite judge, just for the entertainment factor. I love how he speaks as well - he's so enthusiastic and uses such great vocabulary.

Him getting topless was def one of the highlights of the show along with Hayleys routine. More please Danny!
