I thought the chips went in the newspaper, not the fish.

Remember, this is posh fish 'n' chips

Each judge can give each course a mark out of 10.

Shouldn’t posh fish ’n’ chips be served in the Tatler?

ah, the voting has just clicked! 5 judges with 10 points each. I swear i'm going senile.

I can't believe that judges are constantly giving 9 or 10 points though.

I don’t get that station.

I’m watching Britain’s Best Dish. It has its own thread.

It's just BBC repeats. Just thought it was worth mentioning that Good Food have a new show.
Also, it's on at 8pm not 9

It was a really good series. I thought they would have done a book from it.

Rick Stein's Mediterranean Escapes is currently being shown on Good Food at 7pm (also there's +1 and next day repeats).

It's a good series. I like the Greek and Turkish parts of it.

Here in the states, the Cooking Channel has started airing old episodes of The Galloping Gourmet. It's incredibly quirky and funny.

That's a blast from the past. I've only seen footage of it in a series called The Way We Cooked.

Aaron Craze - Rude Boy Food is on at 8.30 on goodfood 283 HD and 249 on sky. not sure what channel number it is on others. He has some awesome recipes.

Rhodes Around Italy is on as well, repeated as I caught 1 episode a while ago but still quite interesting.

Been quite impressed with GoodFood tbh.

Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations
9pm on Good Food

Colombia: New. Charismatic travelling chef Anthony Bourdain and his TV crew visit Colombia, discovering its unique cuisine and unknown magic.

Not sure why it's starting midway through season 4 though
At least they are moving on from Discovery Shed which seems to keep repeating season 1 over and over.

I spent last night watching nothing but food related shows that I'd recorded recently (all from Channel 4), and enjoyed each of them: Come Dine With Me, Jamie's American Food Revolution, Ramsay's Best Restaurant and Food.

I didn't think much of that. I had all been done before and seemed a little dumbed down.

It must be the C4 food season. Jamie, Ramsay and HFW. Has Heston got a show coming up?

I still like HFW and his programs but he has become a tad preachy in the last few series of his.

Another new series from the Hairy Bikers.

The Hairy Bikers' Cook Off

Do they have the same management company as UKTV Good Food Channel?

Good Food did The People's Cook Book where they collected family recipies.

The Hairy Bikers' did Mum's Know Best...

Good Food did Family Supercooks.

The Hairy Bikers' are doing Cook Off.

The Bikers' did Tour of Britain

Market Kitchen are doing Big Adventure

to be fair both are just following in the footsteps of Rick Stein, Gary Rhodes and the great Keith Floyd with that idea

Guy's Big Bite - Food Network UK, weeknights at 6pm.

Hosted by the same guy that presents Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

It a pretty standard format, host/chef in "thier own" kitchen cooking some recipies.
It good. Some nice recipies so far and pretty much fusion and non-fussy. Not purist at all and pretty easy going.

I can't get any food channels and their shows aren't online either.

Freeview really does need at least one food channel!
