It's a microphone! (And stand presumably) Nicknamed Lady Gaga by Kieron and Brianne. Could be an amusing routine I think!

And they're performing to Freddie Mercury's ‘Great Pretender’, so this is presumably going to be camped up big time, even by Kieron's already high standards!

Could be absolutely brilliant... or a car crash. I go for the former. Can't wait!

Haha, yep, I thought that too! I think it's the sort of routine that only Kieron could ever pull off, so fingers crossed he manages it. Definitely can see why Tracey was excited by it though!

Well you might get your fight after all. I can see Kieron and Brianne both fighting for the microphone, just in time to sing "I am the great pretender" before the other one pulls him/her off. That's how I think the choreography should go, whether it is as good as Frankie and Danny's chair fight, I don't know/

It has the potential to be real fun, and a crowd pleaser. Hopefully nobody will get the hat this year.

Ooh Kieron's is risky.

Gary's sounds risky too. Two canes & Maria and Gary have both said the music is "crazy" and makes them laugh every time they hear it.

Oh I think the 2 canes sound risky and difficult. Do you think it's a fast routine then?

I'm sure they said someone has the hat this year. Guess it's probably Danny, because so far we know that Hayley has the umbrella, Gary has the canes, Kieron has the microphone, and it looked like Daniella probably had the chair.

I'm going to be a bag of nerves before Kieron's performance this week I think!

Yeah, definitely fast. And I'd imagine there'll be a few throws and catches of the canes. Well, hopefully catches!

I wonder why people say Hayley and Dan are doing something completely different to anything they have ever did on the show. I know it's an umberella, and its a slow song...but I just cant wait to see it

Poor Danny, it's my least favourite prop and somehow I don't think you can do that much with it. Although to be fair, last year I was surprised how much you could do with a broom!


Well that would be my fear, imagine how likely it is that you lose those things during the routine. I don't envy them, but considering how stable he is on the ice, he probably can pull it off.

Yep, it will be very easy to drop them and the routine could just go downhill from there.

However, if he pulls it off... It could be his defining routine. Hmm... am I feeling optimistic? I don't know.

There are two things I hate.

Props week and the wires - given it is likely to be Hayley and two guys that week, they may as well give her the trophy now. Wires never work for the guys.

I must admit to not liking the props and wires. But it is about entertainment after all and I suppose the gbp probably like them.

Heh. I'll be very happy indeed if Kieron pulls it off! But we'll have to wait and see...

Props week has given us some pretty memorable rountines. And a lot of eminently forgettable ones... It's a mixed bag. At least it usually mixes things up though.

I can't see it being Daniella & Danny with Hayley, both having been in the skate off twice.

Its coz its slow that makes it so different for them as they have only had one slowish number up till now and the fact that the brolly keeps turning inside out means anything could happen on the night oh and the fact that they keep poking each other in the eye/head with it.

I always enjoy Kieron's routines. They are always great fun & this one sounds as if it will be.

According to Torville and Dean, there are two new props this year. I might have missed something but:

Gary - cane
Kieron - microphone
Danny - hat
Hayley - kmbrella
Daniella - chair

Have I missed something? Or is it the cane that's new aswell as the microphone?

Tracey has seen a sneak preview of this week's routines from Kieron and Hayley while they've been doing their practicing, if I'm not mistaken...

Ray's flying routine got 30. It was obvious he would get 30 for both routines in the finals. But did that really deserve 30.

I hope they ditch flying cause the only one who's really graceful is Hayley.
