I am getting fed up of her

To start with they gave Dan an unfair advantage. They must have known that Hayley was technically so far ahead when they did the auditions.

So based on the fanbase she has with Emmerdale wasn't it basically handing Dan anothe win by pairing them together given his popularity.

There are a few partnerships I'd like to quiz the PTB over - but I am throwing my support behind Danny. And let's face it Frankie really deserves to win this. She has worked so hard with him

Danny for the win

Danny for runner-up

And watch everybody switch off - I'd love it if Hayley ended up in the skate off

We half agree footygirl

I'm getting behind Danny as well (not literally, a guy can dream!). He's come on leaps and bounds. And I like the feisty Frankie too.

But Hayley & Dan have also won me over with some show stopping routines. Without them, this series would have been very dull indeed. I agree that knowing one another beforehand was an advantage because the relationship you cultivate with your partner is so important, but that doesn't stop me enjoying their performances.

No !

And I think having an 'anybody but Hayley' attitude is nothing more than complete immaturity....considering the work and effort she puts in to achieve great things.

Absolutely ridiculous....

Yes - but wasn't it rewported in the press thta she had previous skating expererience. If she had to be in the show because she was in Emmerdale then surely she should have got a pro who has yet to win a series not Dan who has already won

Nobody is foolish enough to believe Hayley is a beginner but it's just whether her experience matters to you or not. It matters to me but some people just want good skating.

It's not an "anyone but Hayley" for me. More like a "nobody but Gary."

She has NOT had any skating experience at all. She started learning to skate with Torvel and Dean...the same time as everybody else.

Really? That's amusing...because she IS a beginner, and has NEVER had any previous skating experience. She started when everybody else did back in October.

I amm just wondering - given that the ideais for people to learn to skate via dancing or vis a vis wouldn't it be an idea that they place a limit on how lifts are allowed in a performance. Say about 3. We have had Danniella being saved for doing very little skating- basically being lifted around the ice when Mikey did far more solo skating

Maybe this is something that could be raised on the Friday programme - or discussed with Jayne and Chris

And secondly it is time other pros were given a chance to shine. Maria, Dan have seemed to corner the market as far as good clebs are concerend - isn't it about time Andrei, Suzy and Fred were given a chance with decent celebs

You don't really believe that do you?

She was on This Morning in 2007 and announced that she would love to do the show. She must have known it was a definite possibility. Three years on, she's here. And you don't think she's been rehearsing with her professional ice skating childhood friend Dan during that time?

That is why I don't want her to win - too desperate.

Come on get behind Danny and Frankie

I like your idea regarding lifts. They employ a similar rule in professional Ice Dancing competitions, as well as placing a limit on how long a lift can last.

As for who is partnered with whom. Maria is definitely due a dud! She is fast becoming the Camilla of DOI

As for Fred, he did get Zara and it might have been predicted that Emily would be really good - it just didn't turn out that way. Andrei was partnered with Clare and he and Sinitta could have gone a lot further I think - it was a shame and a bit of a shock to lose them so early. It was bad luck.

Suzy most certainly should be paired up with someone half decent next year - that's if she's not been scared off by now!

Why didn't they have the sense to put Hillary with Maria, Jeremy with Alexandra and Gary with Suzy- Suzy's personality would have got something out of him in terms of a performance.

And why didn't they put Hayley with Andrei and Sinitta with Dan

Watch her first performance again, and you will see in her VT how much she struggled during her first lesson with Chris and Jayne.

You really need to start getting your facts straight before you go chucking around accusations that she's did this for years...all we are watching on television is pure talent on her part..and she deserves nothing less than 1st place. And I hope when your precious Gary gets voted off, you become a bit more lenient in your criticisms.

I think it was posted on here somewhere that Karen Barber may have some say in it - why soesn't she put the pros who deserve a chance to win as number one priority- how come Maria is always well catered for

LMAO Now we're not only hating on Hayley because of her smile, her face, her hair, her makeup, her clothes, her choreography, her time slot, her music, her camerawork, her winks, her dance skill, her lifts, her cockiness, her fakeness, her smugness, her stage-school background, her dance lessons, her non-existant skating lessons, and being over-marked and over-praised, we're also adding "gives Dan an unfair advantage" to the ever growing list. I see. I knew I was being overly optimistic in thinking the list would eventually run out.

I thought so too....and I was stupid enough whilst watching her performance last night thinking "Omg...the people on Digital Spy will be eating SO much Humble Pie tonight...finally Hayley has given something that can't be criticized"

But hey ho...I log on to a thread reading "Anyone But Hayley Stage ?!?"

How ANNOYING ! And slightly boring...in the sense that no matter what she does, she will never get rid of criticism. It's very childish in my opinion.

What are we talking of here - skating experience? If you believe the skating 'experts' Hayley doesn't display evidence of previous training on ice - on the contrary many complain of her lack of 'skating' skills - she seems to be in a no win situation - but I think she'll make the final, and I wouldn't be unhappy to see Gary as a challenger.

I very much doubt that pairings are decided based on which pro "deserves" to win this time. I am fairly sure they will be done based on a number of things, including physical characteristics like height and weight - no point putting a 6' plus celeb like Sharron with one of the shorter lighter male pros. I also suspect that they try and make up pairings based on personality which they think will get the best out of the celebs who have been chosen, it would make no sense to separate Dan and Hayley when their history means that they would be likely to build a good partnership. It might not be "fair", but it results in better performances for the show.
The show is all about creating the best TV entertainment possible, not about making a fair competition for the pros. They are just there to do a job, it's not the world championships after all.

As you well know, my support for "my precious Gary" does not cloud my judgement. I have views on each cobtestant seperately. I know Gary won't win so why should I care who is a threat? I'm just enjoying having him & Maria in the competition. I don't bad mouth people just because they're not "my precious Gary." Hmm.

However, you might want to realise not everyone loves your precious Hayley & you need to stop telling people off fornot liking her when you are just as guilty of bad mouthing other contestants, most recently Mikey. Dunno who your next target will be but I'm sure we'll find out soon.

Was she? I'm sure she said she had no previous experience and just started when everyone else did.
I see no reason for her to lie.

She hasn't been on Emmerdale for a couple of years or so, and I don't know how many fans she had while she was there. More than Daniella in EE? Or Sinitta? Or Emily?

There are a few partnerships I'd like to quiz the PTB over - but I am throwing my support behind Danny. And let's face it Frankie really deserves to win this. She has worked so hard with him

Danny for the win
And a number of people would be put off voting for Danny because of Frankie - me for one.
The issue isn't which pro skater has worked the hardest, or hasn't yet had a win.
The judges mark Danny, not Frankie - and they mark Hayley and not Dan. (Although they did mark both of them down when he dropped her. If anything was unfair, that was.)

I think you might have miss-interpreted my comment. I was meaning to get my point across that Hayley has never had any previous skating experience before, and that you are 'wrong' when you say she had. Facts, not opinions. I completely understand that people might not warm to Hayley.

I apologize - looking back now I was harsh.

Now that you mention it....Daniella isn't doing much these days....
I'm kidding.
