No !

And I think having an 'anybody but Hayley' attitude is nothing more than complete immaturity....considering the work and effort she puts in to achieve great things.

Absolutely ridiculous....
I agree! Don't know how anybody can wish somebody to be in the skate-off!

I didn't notice that they had?

I thought the general consensus was that Gary was the superior skater...
I think there is some miscommunication. When people say that she is the best, they don't necessarily mean she is the best skater.

I think a lot of people who can't take to Hayley do misinterpret posts from people who like Hayley and vice versa. I got the feeling that the overall consensus is that she is the best performer (best package), who has managed to improve some of her skating skills. Whereas Gary is the best technical skater, who has managed to improve some of his performance skills (I could say somthing nice about the others, but I just concentrate on these two). People will like different people depending on what they prefer in a performance.

I've read so many posts stating as fact that she is the best skater. Now, it could be that they meant to say performer, but skater was the word used.

I think lach pretty much summed it up.

Hayley is the best ice dancer for me. That takes into account her skating and musical interpretation.

I prefer Keiron. Each to their own.

I thought so too....and I was stupid enough whilst watching her performance last night thinking "Omg...the people on Digital Spy will be eating SO much Humble Pie tonight...finally Hayley has given something that can't be criticized"

But hey ho...I log on to a thread reading "Anyone But Hayley Stage ?!?"

How ANNOYING ! And slightly boring...in the sense that no matter what she does, she will never get rid of criticism. It's very childish in my opinion.
And I guess most of the comments are coming from children who can be so spiteful when something upsets them.

there's very good reasons why you have tennis players and athletes who can still compete at 32 but only a very few carry on until they are 36.
Just remind me, how old are Jayne Torville and Christopher Dean?

I agree with another poster, which I also said on another thread, that Daniella's apparent poor fitness level could be due to her past history. It seems she has forgotten how to act, dance etc. too, especially as she had to go back to her old Stage School for some tips from the youngsters there, last week.

I don't want Hayley to win because she is too good which is not fair to the others, she wants it too much so she is too desperate, she is obviously enjoying herself which puts her at an added advantage and what on earth is she doing in a competition that she wants to win, it's not very British is it? She should just give up now and let somebody else win who wants it less and isn't as good.

Oh and let me guess - the ice is colder for her too, which is obvious favouritism?

Now that's just being silly although I believe she has been living in an igloo for the last two years just in case she was ever invited to take part in the programme.

Now I shouldn't, but this made me chuckle. Now have you any proof for this.

This is a photo of Hayley and Dan with an old family friend in their igloo just outside Cleckhuddersfax.

Well that is conclusive, and I think that is really unfair. Great journalistic effort.

PS: Thanks for that, it really cheered me up

LMAO Now we're not only hating on Hayley because of her smile, her face, her hair, her makeup, her clothes, her choreography, her time slot, her music, her camerawork, her winks, her dance skill, her lifts, her cockiness, her fakeness, her smugness, her stage-school background, her dance lessons, her non-existant skating lessons, and being over-marked and over-praised, we're also adding "gives Dan an unfair advantage" to the ever growing list. I see. I knew I was being overly optimistic in thinking the list would eventually run out.
That is a brilliant list - love it! Surely this now has to be definitive?

She most certainly garners a reaction doesn't she?

That is why I don't want her to win - too desperate.

Come on get behind Danny and Frankie
I like Hayley, but I with you on this one. I support Danny and Frankie (although I believe it was her gob that ruined Danny's scores)I know Danny is not the sharpest tool in the box, but there is something very endearing about him. And he is a grafter.

Some of the comments are so ridiculous. But I'm not surprised, this happens /every/ year with at least one contestant.

Hayley is not my favourite and she's not the best /skater/ in the show. I've said it once and I've said it before, she's the best package in the show and for that reason she deserves to win. Do I personally want her to win? No I don't. Kieron or Danny for me because they have improved so much in recent weeks but that doesn't mean I can't see that the girl is the best all rounder.

So she's apparently desperate. Desperate to what? Win? Then I say be desperate Hayley. Winning isn't a crime.

I don't get the impression that Hayley's any more desperate to win than anyone else.

They all seem equally keen to me!

I just dont understand why people continually have to put down someone who is really good just because they prefer someone of inferior competence? Ok support someone from the lower order by all means, but don't get petty, viscious or jealous about it.

Exactly!!!!

It's so obvious that it's being done on this forum. Hayley brought a routine out on Sunday that literally was amazing, outstanding and...perfect. But yet, she still gets slated no matter what - which makes it a little boring, knowing that no matter what, she will never win people over. But oh well...I guess it's just as predictable as Hayley winning the show.

I dont like it when the winner is so obvious it takes away the enjoyment of the competition

The problem Hayley has is that she has been top of the leaderboard for so long. Naturally she tried to improve the scores she was getting, and said she was working on technique etc., but without others taking the heat off her (she's been top every week bar week 2 where she didn't skate) by sharing the top spot, it looks as though she's 'desperate' to win because she keeps pushing herself.

If you compare this to other series: Bonnie hit the top spot 5 times out of 8 and got treated in the same manner in series one. In series 2, Kyran and Claire shared the top spot between them taking the pressure off them both - neither reached the elusive 30.0 either. In series 3 Chris topped the leaderboard 7 times out of 10 and got branded cocky (generally cocky is preferred to desperate in regards to young male contenders; see Danny this year). In series 4 Ray was miles ahead of everyone and was the focal point of the series so the criticism was always going to be muted.

Though they seem lovely people, I'm not a fan of Hayley and Dan as a couple - I find them a bit too cheesy resulting in them being hard to watch at times. Saying that, some of the criticism they are getting (especially Hayley) is unkind and unnecessary. The wish to improve should be applauded, not vilified.

There is absolutely no way Danny will win. Hayley will win. And she should. Simple as.

She is the best skater technically, and I always like to see the best all round skater win, unless they're a smug git like Ray Quinn
