Just realised we may not know Amber's correct D.O.B - all the vet info says 26th April... But my diary says 29th...

I know it's not a huge deal Just wondering of others know their pet's exact D.O.B?

Incidentally I can't remember the date we got her on either (sometime in the July - she was 9 weeks)

All my DSHs have been orphaned/rescues so I never knew their birthdays - I just knew their approximate age when I got them and worked back from there. Amber won't mind what day she gets her birthday treats - maybe she could have two birthdays like the Queen

Different with pedigrees, you know the exact day as it's on the paperwork.

I know all of my current three dogs' dates of birth and two of them are sisters whose pics I saw soon after they were born. I also remember my previous dogs' birth dates (apart from a couple I rehomed for which I only know approximate dates like the OP) and they still get marked on my new calendar ever year... the sad person that I am!

I don't know my dogs actual DOB but we "celebrate" his birthday on 17th June. I got him when he was 11 weeks old, and I just counted back 11 weeks from the day I picked him up. It obviously isn't exact but that's his birthday as far as I am concerned!!!

No one even knows Duncans correct age - he was between 8 months and a year old when we got him,so we have no idea when his birthday is.
We celebrate the day we got him as his birthday - it certainly was the day he found his forever home.

I know both my dogs' DOBS. I was there for Paul's birth.

I never knew my cat's, so I made one up for him - the same day as mine

I don't celebarte Ella and Effie's birthdays - they have a HOMEday on 26th Jan and 27th Jan, when they arrived here!

We worked out that Winnie was born on 28th June 2009.

Gabby was 1 year when she was brought to us so her birthday is on June 14th
Peaches, Cracker, Chunkie and Spirit 22nd of August 2009 born between 9am and 11am there Maisie moo's kittens
Smokey was brought to us in a carrier aged around 4 wks on November 6th 2009
