How to raise the stress level in the house

Just been looking at the Australian BB site and a couple of suggestions fans made over there really leapt out of the page

1.In your face nominations: A lot of people feel the tension will be turned up a notch in BB4 with the housemates forced to nominate in front of each other.

2.It's time to go ... hey wait a second! This theory is that the HM's won't be told who is up for eviction. All housemates will spend the week nervously wondering if they're safe, or in danger of leaving the house.

I like no.2 especially

Raised stress levels make for more interesting viewing IMHO

I like both of those ideas .....

Also, regardless of what time and in what state they go to bed, get them up at 0730 (like people who work for a living) to perform critical tasks then punish those who perform badly and reward those who do well, further raising the stress levels ......

How about a weekly quiz, live on TV and along the lines of Weakest Link

They have to play 'as a team' to build up the amount for the next week's shopping budget................

But at the end of each round they vote one HM off the quiz, the one being left at the end winning freedom from nomination

That should cause a tad of tension.................

I like the sound of them all especially nominationg face to face, That would stir things up.
The thing i am looking forward to is to see if anyone is going to come out and say the reason their in the house for is to win, Because i was getting really bored last season "oh i dont care about winning i am here for the experience" we need bitching this season. slightly OT hehe

Didn't they try that in BB4 ?

The HMs stopped performing and lazed around sunbathing all day.............

They definately shouldn't tell them who is up for eviction. In every series, there is always a contestant who feels it appropriate to suck up to the camera for five days in hope of staying. Now, with the housemates ego's, they will never expect them to go and the reactions will be great.

Definately try to plant rumours into the house, let their emotions get wild. For example, you could have a housemate in the Diary Room, and the 'producer' is talking to the voice of Big Brother and it gets through. Make them paranoid by the producer saying that there will not be nominations one week, a straight public vote. Will that housemate tell the rest of them, or just act up to the camera for a week?

allow a head of household to change nominations - make them do it face to face and to say why

Or better still, let them all do their nominations in the diary room, then when they're all finished and comfy on the sofa (not meeting the eye of the people they've just nominated), flash up all their nominations on the screen, now that would be fun

nominate face to face, they sort of did that on paradise hotel, some of the backlash and back stabbing made good veiwing, we might not get stupid reasons for nominating and housemates would know who were gunning for them there would be arguments between them asking why?, what? and where?

They should nominate face to face and not have to give a reason. Just a name. Then allowed to discuss why only if they wanted to.
