OP did you not notice how old that article is? '9/12/2009/'

Anyway, convenient timing, because today Popjustice uploaded a 30-second preview of Sophie's new single Bittersweet on their website. Go check it out.

Am I the only one who has a bad feeling that Radio 1 will shun her from their playlist this time round?

I Do hope not since Radio 1 lately hasnt been its best for music lately i hope we can see the return of proper british music again like it was in the 90's and very early 00's.

She's gorgeous.
Reminds me of a prettier version of the actress who plays Emily in Friends.

I listened to those clips earlier and fell in love with the track instantly. I've always love Sophie E-B. I even still enjoy Shoot from the Hip

It would't suprise me if Radio 1 did shun her though which is a huge shame. I read today (on Popjustice ) that Goldfrapps Rocket hadn't even been playlisted by Radio 1 Which seems strange because back in 2005 they practically bummed them and played Ooh La La at least 6 times a day for a month.

I don't listen to R1 anymore.

I don't want to turn this into a Goldfrapp thread but it is shocking what radio 1 has on it's playlist this week several x-factor songs all of which are not that good and no Goldfrapp.

I too fear that Sophie will not make the radio1 playlist like Goldfrapp she will be on radio 2 looks like at 36 years old i am now a radio 2 listener rather than a radio 1 listener.

The 30 sec of Sophie's single sounds great my favourite album is Trip The Light Fantastic 'What Have We Started?' is one of my favourite songs of all time.

I love Sophie. She is so underated now. She does great dance tracks. Can't wait to see her back. I hope she releases a greatest hits one day as her albums just don't do it for me.
