Last series the pros were:

Anton
Erin
James
Ola
Brendan
Katya
Brian
Kristina
Ian
Natalie
Matthew
Aliona
Vincent
Flavia
Darren
Lilia

Do we think there will be people who won't come back?

I really hope Darren & Lilia are back sooooo much.

Vincent pretty much confirmed he's back at the event I went to.

Anton, Erin and (unfortunately) Katya would be my guesses

I hope they all stay the same this year without any new ones being added, especially the females. We've had 4 new ones in the space of two series, so if they feel the need to shake things up a bit I would prefer one or two of the males to change this time.

I just think Anton and Erin will not be coming back with a new couple replaceing them

If the BBC have any sense they will lose four pros and not replace them.

I guess Anton will be gone- age, latin, bad PR last series.

Hopefully none will go but I really really hope Darren and Lilia come back

I sincerely hope there aren't 16 couples again this year - 12 would be the perfect number which would mean losing four pros unfortunately. I have no idea who the BBC might decide to cull, but I guess than Anton & Erin might be in danger although Anton is still very popular.

dont think the BBC are intelligent and savvy enough to realise that 16 was too many.

Unless some pros decide to withdraw the BBC will be cramming them in again, who knows they might even increase the number.

I certainly hope the BBC dont add any more pros!

Hopefully we will keep the ones we have but until the BBC send out the contracts no-one can confirm that they will be back

I think if the BBC cut the number at all, it'll be to 14, which would mean losing Anton and Erin, or losing Anton and Katya (which I don't want or think will happen really) and having Brendan dance with Erin in the pro dances.

But personally I think A&E being cut is the more likely option - the new girls need to be given some time to find their niche in the programme, and Katya did a good job with Phil this year. Aliona's obviously popular with the producers because she's doing both tours (and I think it's Katya's schedule which is preventing it - she did a lot on SYTYCD) and Natalie booked a return ticket by virtue of getting to the final.

Ola is safe as defending champion, therefore James will also come back because I don't think either of them would do it without the other, Vincent and Flavia will probably be the first confirmed because the BBC appreciates how valuable they are to the show, Ian and Matthew are popular, Brendan adds comedy value and Darren and Lilia also seem to be held in high regard by the production team.

The only ones I'm not sure of are Brian and Kristina. Brian did well with Ali but Kristina should have done a much better job with Joe, and she wasn't overly impressive on tour. But they are doing both tours, so maybe that's an indication that they're staying. If the number of couples is cut to 12, then they'd be my favourites to go alongside A&E.

All a matter of taste, of course, but I'd dispense with the following:

- Brendan: there is no entertainment value in arrogance.
- Anton: a gag that's worn a little thin.

On shaky ground for me are:

- Aliona: needs to learn how to manage her celeb, although I absolutely loved the hip hop samba she did with Matthew.
- Natalie: also needs how to manage her celeb. Choreographing judge-pleasing routines while neglecting the character of her celeb did Ricky a disservice and created a gulf between him and much of the audience that she was then unable to bridge.

All this will lie in the hands of the new executive producer ... who is, as yet, unknown.

More interesting is who they will sign up as celebrities. Last year should have been an improvement as they dispensed with the pop princesses but the producers clearly hadn't done their jobs as personality was thin on the ground.

We can only await with baited breath ...

It needs to go back to 12 couples, but will the Beeb listen?

Anyway, I wouldn't lose sleep if Anton, Erin, James (and if Ola left too then fine) or Vincent left. Natalie, Katya and Aliona deserve at least one more series I think, although I wouldn't lose sleep if Natalie left.

Having seen Natalie on tour, I would disagree with that. I thought she was great dancing with Ian.

I personally think that Anton, Matt C, Erin, Katya and Aliona are on sticky ground.

I personally would like to see it down to 12 couples (or at a maximum 16 couples).

^^ Why do you think Matt C is on sticky ground Sara?

nahh, fourteen couple's i think. 16 is fine though. its not really the ammount of celebs that bother me its just the prester and the judge

I personally think they will keep it at 16 couples with exactly the same pro's.
However if they did decide to cut the number to 12 i would get rid of:

Anton - I like him alot but i agree about the dodgy latin.
Erin - Same, although Latin is better i doubt they'd keep her if getting rid of Anton.
Kristina - Not keen on her or her dancing, strange fling of the head move she does, very irritating, and i don't think she can choroegraph very well.
Natalie - I can't see them getting rid but i can dream!

The only problem with that being you're left with uneven numbers of male and female pros, and that won't happen!

I never liked Natalie on the show, she came across as very fake and far too focused on winning for herself. But on tour she was fabulous and she really endeared herself to me when she climbed over the barrier to embrace an old lady in front of me, which no-one else did. She seemed completely genuine and having fun then, and if she mellows like that on the show itself and shows her true personality on screen, I'd be glad for her to come back

Kristina, Anton and Erin I agree with you about though, although I wish we were shown just how much choreography Kristina actually did on Dancing on Wheels - she has never really had an inspired moment on the show, but she's also never had a good dancer who could pull off more advanced choreography, so we've never seen what she could possibly do. She was shown up by Mark on tour though.

She did some of the choreography of the pro dances last series- I think she did the Sweet Charity routine, and the 'One Night Only' one. Now the Sweet Charity one I thought was excellent, but One Night Only was way too flashy for me. And of course we had gusset-gate, then and in the Bolero as well.

As regards choreographing for celebs, well we know she's not good at choregraphy for weak celebs! Maybe if she gets a stronger one this year it will be better, but somehow I fear it will just end up being a lot more gusset...

I'm not really a fan, if it's not obvious!

Darren and Lilia have to come back!! ... They bring so much to the show for me!

Would like to see James and Ola back too

If it did go down to 12 I'd drop

Brian and Kristina - I don't think they're paticually big characters and their chereography is nothing special (jmo)

Katya and Brendan - This year I've found them both a bit dull tbh

I'd keep Anton but give him a dud because it wouldn't be the same without him, so wouldn't want to loose him completely
All the rest I'd keep especially Darren and Lilia because they're THE BEST EVER
