How does one make chip shop curry then?

Is this in the cafe or a ready meal? The chips and gravy are £1.05 in the cafe and they are quite nice.
If I'm an uneducated eater then so be it.

I have no idea what an uneducated eater is. How educated do you need to be to eat?

Here is a recipe:

Also available at your chippy smothered over battered fish or fried chips!

The Tesco Value Curry Powder is 46p, buy that and make you own chips and they taste a lot nicer.

They do once you have them at home. Curry powder, flour, oil, tomato puree, lemon juice they are all things that you keep in the cupboard/fridge. They cost a few pence when you use them a bit at a time.
So then it's an apple, an onion and a few potatoes.

What do you think, Asda subsidises the cost of what they sell for you?
Asda sells food cheap because it's cheap food, they aren't magicians.

I for some reason didn't realise they were being sarcastic. I'd have priced that recipe much much lower!!!! The amazing spice is curry powder! shocking!

I tried Waitrose 'Chinese Curry Paste' and that tasted just like I remember Chip Shop Curry Sauce from decades ago...........I haven't had any since then as they don't seem to go in for chips and curry sauce (or gravy !) in London..........
