Oh wow you really got me there. What was I thinking voting Hayley...

Gut feeling.

I doubt it. The way you guys behave when anyone criticises her is much more embarrassing. You guys are like hounds.
Oooooh a 'gut feeling,' Eh ?! A 'gut feeling' ?? Well then, how could I possibly every think of supporting and sticking up for Hayley on this forum....because 'strictly irish' has a 'gut feeling' that she's fake and nasty off the ice. I HATE HAYLEY and I hope she now falls flat on her face and gets voted off next week....thanks for sharing your 'gut feeling' with me strictly....it's shown her in a completely different light....and that light is HIDEOUS !!!!!

Hmmm...I do hope you aren't called to serve on a jury any time in the near future. Gut feeling is not a particularly reliable way of judging character, especially as in this case it's through a TV screen!

It's perfectly acceptable. It's a TV show!

And tell me this: Hayley got the highest score last week. Yet still is the least favourite. Why?

And it's not jealousy, I can assure you. If I was goijg to vote anyone out of jealousy it would be Kieron as he is clearly the favourite.

I didn't say I think everyone should go by my gut feeling.

All I wrote on this thread to begin with was "Hayley and Dan." not "EVERYONE VOTE HAYLEY AND DAN I'VE A GUT FEELING ABOUT HER!!!!!"

She is only least favourite on this forum, in the real world she is extremely popular. She is the least favourite on here because she is the biggest danger to the others, so far ahead.

Nobody knows how the voting is going in the real world.

People on these forums vote & so represent a portion of the real world.

I can only go by my own experience and that is that everyone I asked about DOI say Hayley is the best. Noone has said to me that they do not like her.

Okay, now I'm going to tell you. And I'vd been pushed to this so I don't want to be attacked by those annoying Hayley protectors.

She comes across as so false, pretending to struggle with the spin. Why do four if you're struggling so much?! She barely did any skating in her routine. Her smiles and gazes at Dan are too "look at us, we get on so well!!" I don't particularly like Dan either. Stop winking! I just don't trust that she's real. She's too desperate to come across well. Just be yourself! Btw I don't care if you think this is all untrue, a few manical fans on a forum isn't going to change my mind.

That's why. And no great performance will outweigh the complete annoyance this partnership is to me. Sorry.

I keep telling you I'm a yellow labrador, soft and soppy. I am not the nasty one on here, I am not the one being nasty about a young woman on a TV programme.

I didn't say it wasn't acceptable, just unreliable.
However, as you say it's a TV show and frankly, it really doesn't matter that much in the grand scheme of things if your "gut feeling" is right or wrong.

As for why Hayley gets the highest scores and yet often gets voted least favourite on here, I think there are a number of reasons, firstly the sample on here is tiny and secondly is self-selecting, those who feel strongly about a contestant are more likely to vote in polls, someone who is top of the leader board is likely to generate stronger feelings than someone who is "mid table" hence the person at the top tends to feature highly in both favourite and least favourite polls.

I'm more inclined to think they would be too embarassed to own up
I voted for Hayley and Dan. I just didn't post it because I am not feeling too good and can't be bothered with the same debates all the time. People already know how I feel by now.

Right, don't usually post in here, I just read but I'm going to admit to... voting Hayley and Dan as my least favourite

I have nothing against the girl other than errm... she's my least favourite! She's the only one that doesn't triggered any kind of emotional response in me when she skates, a response I have no control over. Yeah, I can recognise that she's possibly the most talented and her routines are good but that alone doesn't make anyone my favourite in any competition. For me, an emotional connection plays a very big part in choosing a favourite, it's not simply about being 'the best' or most talented.

I recognise that Leona Lewis is very talented and technically brilliant but she leaves me cold and is therefore not appealing to me as a musician, it's the same thing with Hayley and her performances, no emotional connection or stirring of any feeling in me, I have no idea why because it's not something I consciously control.

Now if the poll were titled, "vote for the least talented skater" my vote would be different... but it isn't and on the show we're encouraged to vote for our favourite, so I do... whether they're technically the best or not.

And I don't think I've ever typed the word 'favourite' so many times before Blimey, sorry for going on a bit...
