i think that generally the artists earlier works are often the best... why? because they are fresh and new, its a new sound and possibly the most creative time of any artist. reckon that 95% of artists run out of steam by the 3rd album... generally speaking of course.

Destiny's child - I like everything from them
Same with Pink so i take back my original comment Sugababes - I like everything exlcuding anything from One touch and Catfights and spotlights. Although Overload is a tune so i will make exception for that. |

I love Madonna's early music but I can't stand her new stuff. It's unoriginal and bland imo.

Madonna early stuff.
Would have loved have been around when she burst on the scene. Remember reading somewhere if you walked into a school in the US in the early 80's nearly ever girl was dressed like Madonna. |

I would have loved to have been around when she burst onto the scene as well.
however, she proved she could live up to the hype and did create some of the 80's best music which imho was far superior to her more recent material. |

Oh no, i never knew she did that. I think i would of been a huge fan. I discovered Madonna back when she turned all crap, but grew up listening to The Immaculate Collection which of course is the album full of her best songs.
